    Greetings to AnD,
I went to the Hong Kong Film Festival Filmart.
    I came, I saw, I ate.

It was very interesting. I won't post a ton of pics since they already have their own page
on this site.  I went w/my co-producing partner, Newman Chang.  Watch out for him, he'll be the next Jerry Bruckheimer.   I also went to the Asian Film Awards, thanks to Terence.
Will upload those pics soon.  I met William Hurt there and John Woo.  So officially,
the only celebrities I've taken pictures with (who I've had actual conversations with) are
George Clooney, William Hurt and John Woo.  Although, I don't know if John understood
anything I asked him or said.  I definitely talk faaaaast.
William Hurt called me a Golden Dumpling and you will see why when you see the picture.
I've been here for 3 weeks.  Met some rEAL nice ppl and some pretentious ppl.  The good the bad and the fake.
Saw one movie so far called Soundless Wind Chime from a nice young director, Kit Hung.  I hope to see the Magic Hour, Departure and some others.

I look forward to see my director's final cut trailer for Lumina, finalizing the casting for my friend's live action feature to be shot in Louisiana (stay tuned for that amazing story) and setting my friend- - DJ Paris Wang from the band INC.- - schedule for his China and HK tour '09.  He's on this AnD site too.
Check him out below.  Btw, one pic of us @ a Racks 2nd anniversary event, to prove that I was there, people!  Thank you for reading.
    hugs and kisses to all.

  • my oooold pics 2 yrs ago w/long hair; growing my hair out now

    Saturday, Feb 21, 2009 2:58AM / Standard Entry

    FEB. 2009 - Then
It's been a little over 2 years actually for this hair, now growing it out again:
just 2 shots of me w/long hair that people can't imagine me with. . . . .I think all
women should give themselves a variety of looks when they're young.
Your internal beauty stays with you your entire life, your external beauty deserves
a little fun, a little modesty and a lot of excitement.
My journey of excitement is ending soon. (^_^), but I did have fun.
    Hugs & kisses to all.
PS. Slumdog Millionaire is going to sweep the Oscars!

    MARCH 2009- Now
Thought I'd add my current hairstyle right now.  I'm growing out my hair so I had pics taken so I can show respect for my stylist, Ramon's work.
    He's amazing to me!

Things I do @ recession time; btw, if y'all ever over in Los Angeles & want photo shoots, I'll pass
    you my fabulous photographers.
    NARCISSISM @ work . . . . . . ;0)
    hugs and kisses to all!

  • My First Crush directed by Rocky Jo in '08

    Wednesday, Jan 28, 2009 8:21AM / Standard Entry

Hello, I forgot to add this on my projects list.  I was location manager for Rocky's short film and he was a pleasure to work with.  He has an amazing way with people and an amazing talent to tell a  story that people will feel good about after they leave the theater.  My First Crush was produced by Grace Su (Peachies) and Janice Paik.

It was honored in festivals of 2008 like Los Angeles Asian Film Festival and San Diego Asian Film Festival, for example.
    thank you for viewing.
    hugs and kisses to all.

  • Moloch short film in LA, CA

    Friday, Jan 16, 2009 5:08PM / Standard Entry

    Jan. 2009

I come back from Hong Kong and have the good opportunity to work on something different.
It's called Moloch, a sci-fi action thriller.  Directed by Bobby Glickert (Justin Lin's assistant) and produced by Claudia Domenico.  Both of them worked with me on Fast & Furious 4.
I do the locations for this project.  We shot in the desert too but I forgot my camera for those days.
In LA, permits have to be approved or else we can't shoot any exterior shots.
Here are lots of pics of this small budget project shot on 35 mm film camera.  Ahhh, yea - -small.
Next week, I go to VA, my hometown & will take pictures of people in my life
that are not in show business and have normal lives. . . . . =)
    Enjoy the bloody shots!
    Hugs and kisses to all.

  • goodbye 2008, hello 2009

    Friday, Jan 2, 2009 3:14PM / Standard Entry

What could possibly happen in a year?
    in a night?
Anything can happen in a moment.

I am thankful for my healthy family, and friends.  Oh, of course, my health & the HK work
    experience.
It was a time of making new friends, deleting old ones, keeping the best ones, and knowing what's important.
I'm generally a shy person, but can't be that way in this business.  SHOW business that
shows the best and worst of people, best and worst of stories.  I'm thankful that I followed
my instincts regarding the stories that I want to be a part of.  But that's the gamble right?

I have no regrets, especially the experiences that I could have avoided if I had female
intuition.  Does any ladies out there actually have that?

I read about some of the AnD artists and their experiences and you want to reach out & help
them but you can't until you settle yourself.   2009 will be my year of settling all my bets with work
and personal affairs, if I have time from work. ;-)

Here's a few pics of the NYE charity party in LA, California produced by Stephen Liu & Teddy Zee.  I was lucky to be with my 2 best friends this eve.  I even Dj-ed a little, but DJ Paris Wang was the headlining DJ.  Hope your night was just as special.

I'm an American, so Happy New Year everyone.  Hugs and kisses to all.
