    This can only be Hagia Sophia.  The book-matched decorative stone panels are very typical of Justinian architecture, as are the capitals.  This is the last gasp of Roman Imperial architecture.  Absolutely magnificent.  I spent a decade in graduate school studying buildings like this, and then turning around and teaching them to undergraduates.  I really miss art history some days.
