    Can't we all just get along?

    Anyway, it's snowing in Boston, crazy huh!? It's going to be a loooooooong and cold winter. I don't mind the cold, but no shoveling for me!

    I went car shopping with my friend yesterday. She's my negotiator! I was looking for a 2010 RAV4, Black Forest Pearl Ltd Edition V6. Hopefully I can find that or the 2009 Ltd Edition V6 for a decent $. Oh I wish I won the lottery the other night. LOL.

    I am still sick ... it's been a month and going. Not much of a cough though, just stuffy nose and a cough if I got phelgm, EWE!

    I just saw FLASH FORWARD on ABC! Awesome! Can't wait till next Thursday!

    Based on the sci-fi novel by Robert J. Sawyer, this series follows the repercussions of a cataclysmic event that knocks out the entire population of the world for two minutes and 17 seconds at the same time, allowing everyone to see several months into their own futures. The series main focus is on a group of characters determined to figure out how and why this unprecedented event took place and how they might be able to change their unsettling futures.

    John Cho is in it and he has a pretty large role! That's awesome for him.

    On October 4, 2009 (Sunday) at 9PM on CBS is THREE RIVERS starring Alex O'Louglin (from Moonlight) and Daniel Henney. Though Daniel Henney doesn't have such a large role.

    This medical drama delves into the emotionally charged lives of an organ transplant team at the preeminent transplant hospital. Each surgeon has their own complex personal and professional set of issues, but they never fail to put their patient's well being ahead of their own as they work together to play god, no matter what the cost. Each episode takes viewers on the journey between the organ donors, the recipients and the surgeons.

    Time to head to bed, though I had some Vietnamese Iced Coffee earlier for dinner. I am not sure if I feel jittery now or sleepy.

    I meant to post, but when I did, it gave me an error.

    I am posting now as I turned 30 on 8/29! Michael Jackson would have been 51, and Nic Tse turned 29!

    I went out with family and friends for my birthday at a Sushi Buffet. It was nice. After dinner some of us went to see Harry Potter on IMAX, it was cool. I loved the sound and 3-D effect.

    I'll post photos later.

    It was a long weekend and I spent the majority of the weekend babysitting my nephew. It will be a short work week and the boss is out. I hope there's no drama and work just passes by!

    New MUSIC-MAN DVD w/ MUSIC-MAN figurine.

    Why 2nd hand? A new car depreciates in value the most the first few years. All that $ you spent for a new car goes poof! very quickly. If you buy used (from a private party, not the dealer), you're paying less bc the car's street value has already depreciated. It's a little more time-consuming to find a 2nd-hand car w/ low miles and the condition you want but, I imagine, there are lots out there. If you want to save money, spend a little time on the search, be a little more flexible and you'll be glad you did. Anyway, take a look at craiglist to get an idea.

    My first 3 cars were used (between 3 - 5 years old) and I sold them after 3 years at nearly the same price I paid for them. They were Hondas and an Acura. A very good feeling.

    that's a D5000. I wanted the D90, but it was a bit too expensive for me. so as a beginner photographer, I decided to get the D5000 b/c they said it has almost the same features as the D90. haha... I got it at Best Buy in a package deal. came with two lenses (the basic 18-55mm and a 55-200mm) both of them are VR lenses. The package price was $899.

    OH! so you're looking for a Nikon too? let me know what you get when you get one. ;)

    yep, if the background is transparent, save the file as PNG. The image quality saves better than a GIF. Hope it comes out nice.

    OH! have you ever checked out Spreadshirt? it's like Cafepress. But they have different formats of printing. If your design isn't too complicated, you might want to checkout Spreadshirt to do the flex/flock printing. =) It is quite nice!!

    so sorry for a late reply. anyhoo, regarding prints on black t-shirts. I saved my images as PNG instead of GIF. PNG has better quality.

    Mind me asking where are you getting your shirts printed? b/c I printed a shirt at Cafepress with one of the designs and there was a white border around the image. I think when they were printing it, the t-shirt got out of alignment that's why there's a white border. But I requested for a replacement and they sent me a new shirt at no extra cost. It came out better. =) sometimes it might not be your image that has the problem, it may be an alignment issue with the printer. hope this helps... =)

    Oh, I hope you're more careful around that new nephew of yours. Don't wanna drop him. haha. I made my friend's 9-mo-old cry bc she fell when I had her sit next to me on their couch. I kinda forgot about her too bc I was trying to entertain my girls. Splat! On her face. Doh! Luckily it was only a 1-foot drop and onto the carpet. She bawled very loudly. Such a drama queen. lol.

    How was "The Shinjuku Incident"? I still like "New Police Story" the best out of Jackie Chan's recent movies.

    The cheap DVD player I got that plays the Asian DVDs and VCDs is by COBY. Made in China, of course. Check it out.
