Once again we are proud to be an official media partner of the HKIFF's 2016 Summer International Film Festival. This year's opening film was Woody Allen's "Cafe Society", which premiered at the opening ceremony event, held on August 16th at the Grand Cinema in West Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Here's the official press release: 16 August 2016 (Hong Kong) – Cine Fan Summer International Film Festival 2016 (SummerIFF16) is delighted to open tonight with Woody ALLEN’s latest romantic comedy, Café Society at The Grand Cinema. The film was selected to open the Cannes Film Festival 2016. Dr. Wilfred WONG, GBS, JP, Chairman of the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS) expressed his gratitude to all talents and festival supporters and officiated the kick off of the 15-day festival. A crowd of local directors, celebrities and guests were in attendance at the opening ceremony, including Angela Pang, Charmaine Fong, Brian Wong, Angela Yuen and more.
