Music brings people together. Whether they're famous celebrities, or just talented folks making music in my mom's basement.. Music is building this bridge from Seattle to Asia.

So.. My boy, Van Ness Wu came through to Seattle.. We spent the early part of the morning visiting Bruce Lee's grave.. I always knew exactly where it was, but this was my first time visiting it. It was pretty unreal. Right next to Bruce Lee's grave were all these graves from the 1800's.. Turns out people usually only lived to be about 40 in the 1800's.. Must be because they didn't have online doctors back then..

And after that, back to Momma's Basement.. And all of us we're really pumped for Van to get onto our new Empire album.. And honestly.. It's out of control. He came through with the tightest shit I've heard in a loooong time.. Some in English, Some in Chinese.. But all of it, all good.

And my Mom, who had come all the way to Osaka to see us perform at the F4 shows in November, couldn't believe that Mr. Wu was in her house!!! It was too cute.. She was like a little girl around him.. hahaha.. Reminds me of the time she met Soler, and Alan Kuo.. She's a retired caucasion American and completly star struck by my chinese pop star friends.. So fun..

So far, this new Empire Album has 4 songs, all pretty decent, but nothing finished 100%. I'm trying to start as many new songs as I can, cause our sister Melissa can only stay in Seattle for one more week, before she has to back down to Oakland and perform with Brain (The Guns N Roses drummer), Buckethead, and Bootsie Collins.. Yeah.. Our little sis is coming up!! So I'm trying to get as many new songs started, record her first, and then finish them up after she leaves.. Last album she was only on like 4 out of 9 songs..

It's snowing again.. So I'm gonna have nothing but time to get this album past the half way mark..
