I was at the Fun & Food Fiesta of Babe's school last Friday. After my job was done with manning an ice-cream kiosk, I went around looking for merchandise so as to spend some money. I picked up car decal as Babe told me she designed it. Do you think it looks cute?

Car Decal designed by Babe. "IJ" meant Infant Jesus and an acronym used as the school's name.

Babe bought an umbrella with the motifs shown here

More motifs on the umbrella

She must be having herself in mind when she drew this. Babe is into art and I am quite impressed by how abstract her artwork is.
After the event and when I finally found her, I commented on the nice motifs on the umbrella and she causally thanked me and revealed that she designed all of them. The first thing that came out of my mouth was unholy as the commerical value of designs override all the scrīptures I have read and learnt.
"You should have passed them to me to get them published and copyright before allowing others to use them." I burst out.
"This is part of my project and contribution to the school." Babe reminded me of the virtue of "receiving freely and giving freely" as this will help the school to raise funds.
Shame on me! I have been studying Matthew since the beginning of this year and I have not applied the principles which God has wanted His disciples to follow. Forgive me Lord. Babe is right, as a act of thanks giving for all that the Lord has given to her, she wants to give something back. This mum needs to do some reflection.
