Heaven's floodgate

Heaven's floodgate has been pouring blessing for the past few days.  I have been marvelling the sight of the dark clouds formation.

According to the National Environment Agency, where we are located is very favourable for the development of lightning producing thunderstorm clouds.  We experience an average of 171 thunderstorm days annually so during the monsoon seasons, it rains almost every day.  This is great as water is a true blessing for living beings however, there is a flip side to this as we also experience the highest rates of lightning activity in the world. 

There are people whom we know who had been struck by lightning and passed on.  Surviving a direct hit is a miracle and someone whom I know recovered partially from it however, the burns damaged some parts of his body and incapacitated some bodily functions.  It is still a miracle to have survived.  It was unfortunate that it was during a golf game that he got hit.  At times, one may not see the lightning but it could have hit the ground somewhere nearby and the current is transmitted from the ground.
