  • Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6

Do not worry about mistakes, failures, past sins. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins, and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1/John 1:9.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord...." Acts 3:19

As an obedient patient, I have been monitoring my blood pressure from home upon the instructions of my doctors.  I hit 170/105 with a pulse of 65 per minute at about 9 p.m. last night.  Blood pressure dropped but still hovered around 150/95.  This morning the first take is still about the 150 range but dropped to 130/85 before breakfast.

Actually most would have taken the easy way out to just medicate but Professor Lee has cautioned that medicating a patient like me with spikes and lows can cause more harm than good.  This is because the medication could cause the blood pressure to drop to an extreme low for me and result in strokes in the brain.  Well, for the time being I just have to monitor it and hang in there until the cause is found.

Showing her concern, Babe commented that it could be just the anxiety built-up in anticipation of Monday blues.  I just found out that she doesn't like Sunday evening and Monday morning.  Oh dear, I better be careful with my transference (redirection of feelings and desires and especially of those unconsciously retained from childhood toward a new object and in this case, the new object is my Babe)  as I can see that Babe is getting more and more like me.
