God's grace is sufficient for me.

When I first joined in 2007
Besides God, K drama has kept me sane since I started watching them last year. While it is time consuming to watch them, it has brought me laughter and people around me observed that I am more relax these days.
I have walked into the lives of Koreans through the eyes of the Korean directors, learnt a bit about Korean culture which has a lot of similarities compared to the Chinese culture and traditions.
The interest in K drama has also prompted me to learn the language from a Korean neighbour who is trying to learn English. We are enjoying our friendship and hopefully I will be able to make a trip to Korea this year to test out the perception versus reality part.
The influence on me has been great for I prefer to wear Korea made clothes now. My relatives observed that I am looking younger these days perhaps due to the clothes I am wearing and a change of mindset.
Recently, I found HK movies interesting too. In particular, an actor by the name of Daniel Wu has prompted me to tune in to HK movies after watching "Protege". Well, at least my brother and I have something in common now. His fave is watching American and HK movies which I found totally incompatible with his intellectual ability in the past. Now I can understand as watching movies helps to bring one temporarily off the cares of this world. Also, there will be many things one cannot experience in this world but it is wonderful to take a glimpse via a movie.
Just a thought, it must be really emotionally and physically draining for actors/actresses to get into their roles.

Except for my studies which is falling way behind schedule (I enjoy it better that way as all my life I have been rushed to complete my studies for the paper), life has been filled with joy, laughter and positive thoughts. God is good and I look forward to learning His words when Bible Study Fellowship re-starts again in 2008. If God's will, I wish to continue with BSF for the rest of my life.
I have been on "Alive not Dead" for over four months now. As I take a peek into the lives of Silke, Loc, Butter, Jeanne, Joy, Diana, Jasmine T, Peachey, Debandlow, Gary, etc. I thank AnD for providing the platform for me to know so many fantastic people with interesting lives. What do I wish for AnD? I hope our friendship will grow to a level where we can share our joy and sorrows. Love
