English actor living in Barcelona

Simon Brading is an English actor, choreographer and dancer.

He was educated at Dulwich College, London and Royal Holloway (University of London) where he studied a degree in Physics, before training at the Rambert School and Ballet West.

From 2002 to 2004 he worked as a dancer in London with the now defunct Imaginaire Ballet before moving to Madrid to join the Juan-Carlos Santamaria and Larumbe dance companies.

In 2004 and 2005 he danced outside of Spain in principal roles with Vienna Festival Ballet and a season with K Ballet, Tokyo.

Since 2005 he has given up dancing full time and lives in Barcelona working as an actor in various short films, adverts as well as operas in the Liceu Opera House (where he also worked as a dancer where needed).

He has trained extensively in martial arts, holding a black belt in ITF Taekwon-do as well as grades in Karate, Iaido, Aikido, Ninjutsu and WTF Taekwon-do.

During his spare time Simon is unable to sit still for long periods of time and keeps busy with scuba diving (PADI advanced open water), skiing, snowboarding and fencing among other things.
