family issues and autumn break-in

On Sunday I went to my father's place to visit him. It was some time ago (almost have a year) I was there last time. As usually he picked me up on the train station at a town close by and we went to the house he shares with his mate. It is always a pleasure to see that they are fine. We started with a lunch, which is always more or less the same when I come, that is to say wild pork (looks and tastes more like beef than usual pork) or deer with red cabbage and dumplings and some red wine.

Afterwards we went for a...Read more

By estimating my budget for the next months I had to realize that I do not have the money to several things I'd really like to do, rather that I really have to consider carefully for what I'll spend my money  .

So I am really down these days, crawling back into my cave and licking my wounds from the past which broke up again, tired of hard times, tired of pretending, tired of getting slowed down by lack of money.

That's why I am not in t...Read more

Das bittersüße eh'lich' Leben - the bittersweet life in a marriage

It's a poem written by Hans Sachs, a famous german poet and mastersinger who lived from 1494 till 1576 p. Chr. in Nuernberg. The famous Opera "Die Meisersinger von Nürnberg" (the mastersinger from Nuernberg) from Richard Wagner is about him.

As you know, I visited his hometown in July and posted a lot of pics in this and Read more

shout box invasion

Somehow I do not like the shout box anymore (especially at certain times..)...maybe because of the high amount of new members entering it and instead of stepping into a conversation simply ask questions like: "I am new here, can you add me please?". ..somehow I am not willing to get familiar with all these new members anymore  - positive exceptions are always welcome though...

the relationship of heart and ratio

In this blog entry I stated that I have to follow my heart but...

...as ever, in case of emergency my ratio steps in...

....and lifts the curtain of blindness from the heart...

...and makes me see clearly again...

...and leaves the heart in disbelief and pain...

...but it learns its lesson and goes on to lead me through my life...

I don't know much, but....

...I know I love you....

A song sung by Aaron Neville And Linda Rondstadt that came to my mind while thinking about a decision I made today on the way back from Nürnberg, where I spent a wonderful weekend with my friends from the ASBC, but not ready to talk about it yet.

The only thing I know so far is that I have to follow my heart, no matter what it may cost me or where it may lead me...

a weather matching my mood (11.07.2008)

dark, cloudy, rainy, with some thunderstorm in between....

could hardly hold back tears on the way to work this morning...

...so angry and disappointed from a friendship...

....maybe I expected too much...

Edit 11.07.2008: just realized that I was driven away by jealousy and doubt....

Edit 14.07.2008: Things got a little bit out of control on my side - time to think many things over.
