On 30th August 2008 the obsveration deck of the Shanghai World Financial Center, based in the city district Pudong located next to the famous Jin Mao tower, has been opened! The building, also called "bottle opener" is the third highest building in the world and the highest building in China with 101 storeys and a height of 492 m. The design was done by the US-architects Kohn Pederson Fox Associates.

I think this is definitely a new place to go! What do you think?

Sure looks awesome!  It also looks like you could pick it up at the top if you were a giant and walk away with it!  haha!

Unique looking building but I don't like the design at the top - it does look like a bottle opener.  Does it have I'm sure it was something to do with the wind stabilization?  Maybe I just have to get used to it.  But I love the body of the building.
