Thank You - 谢谢你 !!!! / Dark Knight review

Many, many thanks to everyone who sent me sweet birthday wishes here and in the forum and especially to my friends Arvin and Kuhitsu who dedicated a blog entry to me !!! I've spent half the day yesterday to answer all of them personally - I hope that I haven't forgotten anyone.

Yesterday evening I met up with a new friend and we went to the cinema to see Dark Knight in the non-dubbed version. Okay the seats of the cinema need some refurbishment but the sound was awesome and no advertisement! It took me some time to get used to the american english but I enjoyed to hear the voices in original. The Joker was sooo typical a joker, like i know him from previous Batman-movies that some of the plot was predictable . Oh and I like the motorbike of Batman a lot - really cooool ! I also noticed some inspiration from James Bond movies. What I liked about the plot that it was not a clean one but rather realistic mixed with a bit of scifi. The style of the music reminded me of "The Rock" with Sean Connery - is it possible that it is the same composer?? All in all I have to say that it was an awesome, gloomy action movie and all of the actors showed a great performance.

After the movie we decided to walk home because we did not want to wait for the underground and he lives not so far away from my place. The air was fresh and mild and so we chatted a bit on the way home. Not far away from my home I unfortunately stumbled and fell because of some uneven pavement . Luckily I did not get hurt seriously nor my suit got damaged and my rucksack soothened my downfall, so that I did not hit the floor with the backside of my head - which would have happened without my rucksack because I still do not know to roll to the side over the shoulder and it happened out of nothing. I hate see yourself fall in slowmotion. He gently helped me back up and accompanied me to the door of the house I live in and said farewell and agreed to meet up soon again.
