As ever, the last week of the month is packed with events. On thursday evening I decided to meet up with some friends at an after work party from the Deutsche Bahn (german railway) because it was pretty close to my office and I haven't these guys for quite a while. I got there by 7:2 p.m. but none of them was there. I waited, had a coke and tried to reach some of them and it turned out that they were all stuck in the office
. I did not see another person there I know, so I decided to join my colleagues at the end of the month drink
. Which was definitely a good decision because we had a lot of fun! I left around 21:30 because I have a long way home and tomorrow was more to come
.

A pic I took at the australian bar, where we met..
On friday evening it was time for our monthly get together. On the way I took some pics of unusual christmas decorations:

A big christmas tree at an office building

Decorated cranes at a big construction site in the city. The project is called "Frankfurt hoch vier" because it consists of four different parts: a mall adjacent to the high street, a hotel, an office skyscraper and the reconstruction of a historic city palais as part of the hotel. See more pics here. I think I'll keep updated on this project as well. Let's which skyscraper will be finished first...
On the way to the Bonsai Lounge I agreed to take part at a survey of a market research institute but it took too long so I did not finish the test. I asked her in advance how long it may take but seh didn't give me a proper answer so it was up to her to deal with an unfished survey
.
Nevertheless afterwards I took this interesting pic:

Guess it
.
At least I reached the Bonsai Lounge in time.
This time it got really interesting because a lot of new people dropped in but also a lot of friends as well
. My special one held a little a presentation about his last business trip to vietnam. He also found a new business partner, who really has the will and the skills to get his office organized (though she has a fulltime job) because Cong, his co-worker will leave the company. They did not get along pretty well recently. She is a really good asset manager (and broker) in real estate and I had a very interesting conversation with her. I think he's in good hands
. (not what you think - she's engaged and definitely not his type)

It's her talking with michael
More pics, you'll find here.
Later on some more vietnamese friends showed up and we started with karaoke but I had to leave to catch the last train because I have a little cold and too much to do on Saturday morning. This really made me kind of sad
