YO. Timmy here. Hello. I decided that it would be a good time to come back to the blog and write my first post in what seems like FOREVER. Now I'm here though, I kinda don't know what to write, so I figure I'll just shit talk away and it'll probably turn out the same as a planned blog post anyway. So, there's been a fairly nice pace to Shotgun life recently. Lots of activity has spread over at just the right time intervals: not too close that it becomes tiring (not that it would ever!) and not too far that we are waiting for something to do! If you've been looking at our concert blog you will have noticed that Fredster a.) is a lot better at consistent blogging and b.) we've played quite a few shows recently! On Sunday evening we got to play the famous Hidden Agenda venue with NYC band ' THE MYSTERY LIGHTS ', and BJ indie rockers ' HEDGEHOG '; both of whom are superb and well worth checking out. It was a real good show for us, we played with a lot of energy, a lot of movement and I think we sounded good. Here's to hoping those who were at the show felt the same. Either way, I was proud of that set, and usually I'm our biggest critic! Coming on Monday, we're playing a show at a new venue with HK indie rock's finest: ' THE DAVID BOWIE KNIVES ' and ' POUBELLE INTERNATIONAL '. Despite hanging out a few times and sharing some great chats over a TsingTao, we have never actually played a show with the Poubelle squad, so we're hells stoked for this one. After that gig, we'll actually be taking some downtime from playing shows so that we can get back to writing new material. We have maybe five or six half finished songs that we would really like to lock down and start playing a new set in the second half of 2012. I'm really enjoying the current set, but I think it would be good for everyone if there were some new SP TUNES! Other than that, I would like to try and boost our online presence a bit more. Our friend Reign Lee is pretty good at this, so Reign, I'm stealing your moves! I am giving myself a few goals to achieve this: 1.) More blogging 2.) Start up a video blog on our youtube channel 3.) Keep my twitter account going. If you are a fellow twitterer..tweeter..twat..er? Please follow me ! Regarding step 3, Twitter still hasn't really taken off here in Hong Kong, which is why it's been a year since I've hit up the twitterverse, but I've convinced myself to keep at it by making it link to our facebook page. What does this mean for you? SPAMGUN POLITICS. Peace -TGunn Token Picture: Mike (The Mystery Lights) & I.

Thank you to Joe for organizing HKXO, and Timmah and I had a great time. To add on to the craziness we actually played an acoustic gig! Some team members clearly do not have a game face when forced to play on a box instead of a drum kit. Zang! Thank you guys for coming and supporting! // F

Hey there! A quick post to let you know that we are in the final for Bite My Music http://bitemymusic.com/the-nominees-for-bite-my-music-global-awards-finals-2012/ All right! That is rad :) Also... we have received the DESIGN for our t-shirts. Can't wait to get Jimmy to help us with a factory somewhere across the border. Cheers! // F

Hey there, Kid is really coming into Shotgun in a great way, and the dude has already written a new song for us (working name: "Hummer"). Adding on project-named songs like "Break" (which we've played once) with "Hands", "Clockwork" and "Neon attack, ATTACK!" we should have some new stuff to bring out. Just wanted to keep you posted. February we'll have a few gigs at the Social Media and preliminary at a place which rhymes with Bard Schlock. We'll keep you posted. The only one suffering is Jimmy boy, who can't reach his bass amp since there now is a PA speaker in the way. Poor chap. What to do, what to do? // F
