  • Room for rent

    Wednesday, Dec 17, 2008 1:53PM / Standard Entry

I am moving out of my room, does anyone need a place to stay? $5500/month including all bills and maid that is here every day. It is at Times Square in Causeway Bay. Very clean, fully furnished, many many windows AND complete with washer/dryer!
My landlord is very nice too, very easy going, and the roommates (2 of them) are virtually non-existent.

Please let me know ASAP! Preferably before Friday the 19th.

    Thanks!

  • Missin the SuckaFree

Anticipating the busy/drunken/crazy Halloween weekend we're going to have here in HK, there probably won't be a post until I'm fully recovered, whenever that may be. I leave this blog open to you, tell me what you like/miss about San Francisco and the Bay Area in general. (Or if you are reading this on AnD, what do you like about your hometown?) Help me imagine SF again, I do miss it dearly.

For inspiration, here is one of the poems I wrote during my first week in HK that has been on my facebook. Add some verses! I'm feeling lazy.

    Ode to San Francisco

    I've got 3 suitcases and a fold-a-bed
4 credit cards with different marks
2 friends to crash with (and I thank my cards)
but only 1 of you and I can't forget

No, I can't forget your numbered streets
    I can't forget your Clement-ine eats
    I can't forget 60-degree weather
and the guys and grrls with chaps of leather

    No, I can't forget the Geary 38
nor the fog from Ocean Beach to the Golden Gate
I can't forget the murals on Mission Street
nor the music there that moved my feet

She's got 3 thousand homeless children with no dry beds
4-dollar gas with no parking space
2 am last call with no taxis home
but countless charms and I can't forget

  • Pumpkins!

    Tuesday, Oct 28, 2008 4:30PM / Standard Entry / Blogger Import

This entry comes in the spirit of Halloween and maybe a little bit too much paper mache glue last night for a costume...

Wired Geek-o-Lanterns - I love the Death Star one!!
    Star Wars Lanterns

And I might as well throw in this Roasted Pumpkin Salad Recipe. Might attempt it this week!

I am super excited for the Dead not Alive costume party on Friday. I have no doubt it will be just like old times with rottentomatoes, but new and improved and HK-ified!

Let's just say my costume has a lot of black, and chains, and leather too... but it's supposed to be cute, I swear!
