As there may be one or two of you who don't remember the second world war, the answer to the inevitable question is - they are Ration Books, given to each and every citizen in order to stop unscrupulous people stockpiling food and other precious commodities. Of course, things are different these days and you can save up as many tins of corned beef, or perhaps whalebone corsets as you like

With the state of the economy, ration books may have to be re-introduced! I think in this day and age we miss a lot of the close knit communities the war made upon us, It was a terrible time from what I hear, but the values of most people were much more treasured.

I'm getting on my soapbox again! I really like Night & Day, and I enjoy the mini stories in your videos,it's a style I think many artists are losing these days.
