As 2009 draws closer to an end, we can't help but to look forward to a brand new year. To kick start 2010, reward yourself with a calendar that features Amber Chia, Jojo Struys, Serena C and Angel Wong.

Animals are vulnerable and cannot speak for themselves therefore it takes people like Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and Malaysian National Animal Welfare Foundation (MNAWF) to speak up for them. They've worked with Amber Chia to come up with the 2010 Animal Charity Calendar.

For this charity project, Amber roped in a few of her celebrity friends – TV host, actress and radio deejay, Jojo Struys; radio personality, TV host and emcee, Serena C; and well-known Chinese TV host and actress, Wong Chui Ling (Angel) to pose with their own pets. The theme is “We care; we love; we support”.

    Here's a sneak peek:

    I'm gettin terrible at updating!
    My bad!
Since I wasn't holding the camera (was onstage pretty much the entire time) during this year's FHM Most Wanted party I have no personal pics but here's an article from the local daily THE STAR:

    Celebrating Malaysian beauties

    By JADE CHAN

READERS and fans alike of FHM Malaysia had a great time as they partied the night away with their favourite female celebrities at the annual FHM’s 100 Most Wanted Women 2009 Party.

Pamela Chong and Vanessa Chong, also known as the Chong sisters, created history of sorts when both were voted to the coveted number one spot as FHM’s 100 Most Wanted Women in the World.

Having a great time: Vanessa Chong (left), Pamela Chong (second from left) and Jay Menon (right) dancing on stage during Caprice’s performance.

“We were very shocked – at being voted not only number one among the Malaysian girls, but also number one overall!” exclaimed Vanessa.

“I guess people see us as the strong women with girl power, and we’re honoured for this recognition.”

Malaysian beauties: Sarah Lian (left) and Miss World Malaysia 2008 Soo Wincci were among the those who attended the party. Lian was voted to the number 12 spot among FHM’s 100 Most Wanted Women in the World.

Vanessa attributed their popularity to the events they had attended or hosted after The Amazing Race Asia 2, as well as Pamela’s appearance in the movie Talentime.

Actress/TV host Yasmin Hani, who won the number 20 spot, said she felt honoured to have been featured in FHM’s 100 Most Wanted Women list for the past few years.

Hot chicks: (From left) Nadia Aqilah Bajuri, Christina Lee and Mariya Yusoff were among the guests at the party.

“There is a lot more that I plan to do, and I hope to use my popularity to change the world.

“I want to make the world a better place, starting with the causes that are closest to my heart – children and animals,” she said.

The crowd entertained: (From right) Kam, Phat Fabes and Serena C were the event emcees while Liang (left) entertained the crowd with a couple of his songs.

Among the Malaysian beauties who were named as this year’s Most Wanted Women were Amber Chia, Hannah Tan, Sarah Lian, Jay Menon, Deborah Henry, Marion Caunter, Daphne Iking, Carmen Soo, Belinda Chee, Hannah Lo, Rozita Che Wan, Sari Yanti, Fauziah Gous and Marsha Milan.

Party hosts Serena C, Phat Fabes and Joanne Kam Poh Poh had the crowd entertained as they played games and introduced the beauties who attended the party held at Upstairs @ The Loft.

The performance lineup featured local singer and rapper Caprice and AIM award-winning R&B singer Liang, who each sang a couple of numbers.

Charming duo: Yasmin Hani (left) and Sari Yanti were named among FHM’s 100 Most Wanted Women in the World this year.

Measat Publications Sdn Bhd vice-president Louis Foo noted that the party, which is FHM’s signature event, offered an opportunity for its readers to mingle with the celebrities they had voted for, and was a way for the magazine to thank its readers.

“It is the readers themselves who nominated the celebrities and voted for whom they think should be in the top 100,” he said.

“Our FHM August 2009 issue is special because we have two winners as FHM’s 100 Most Wanted Women in the World, and two ladies on the cover (Miss Malaysia Universe 2008 Levy Li and Miss Malaysia Universe 2009 Joanna Belle).”

Girl power: Pamela Chong (right) and Vanessa Chong, also known as the Chong sisters, were voted to the coveted number one spot as FHM’s 100 Most Wanted Women in the World

On the future projects for the magazine, which Measat Publications took over in April this year, Foo said there were plans to promote it intensively, especially through radio and TV.

“We want to bring FHM to another level and create a higher visibility. We’d also like to have more events for readers and reach out to those living outside KL.

“Hopefully, we could even host the party outside KL next year,” he said.

Fun and games with the station team, and performances by my friends who contributed their time for free all for the cause - help abused women and children:

    (Bevy of beauties)

    (Taking a bow - a day = RM10, 000!, Sham, Roshan, Myself, Pietro, Jay)

    (Smiling with glee)
This is possibly the best bday gift over!
We raised RM10,000 in 5 hours to help abused women and children.
As much as I'd like to do things I can't mention here to the abusers, that would not be right.
So I hope this amount will help make the lives of the abused at least a little better.

THANK You all who made this possible!!!
