When I looked at it again the top of the pic made me think of a network of veins..lots of things can be seen in this pic it seems!

In the link the creator goes by the name Fataetoile. The lines in red under the pic are also written by the author as follows:

"Siamo ombre imperfette. Pensieri di un dio distratto..."

Interesting all around, Fataetoile's pic & the thoughts. Not sure about the shadow aspect tho; it came up when I punched in 'shadow' as the keyword but in retrospect I'm not seeing shadows per se, maybe more a dream world than a shadow world..
