I do wonder where my Ancient Egyptian Material Culture class will be held tomorrow. The online schedule still says "ARR" (insert pirate joke here) under room number. Well, hopefully someone will know. Glenn is on the train on the way to PA for his grad school residency. He'll be gone for a week, so it will be just me and the cats for awhile. Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a private person, and I could spill my soul on livejournal the way some people can. I'm just too introverted for that sort of thing . . . or something. So I guess I'll just say that the last couple months have been god-awful. Something happened in November that hurt me badly, and it seems like I'm just now starting to really feel it. I'm trying to work things out, but sometimes I just wonder if that's really the right thing to do, or if I need to move on and take things in a new direction. With all that was going on, I can't believe I managed to survive the end of last quarter. I'm grateful to family and friends who helped me get through it (even those who knew absolutely nothing about this mess, but were just there to hang out and have a good time with). Anyway . . . enough of that. I need to squeeze Quasar and Sinuhe and curl up with my new Mesopotamian history book.
