Randomness part 1.

My computer is finally 100% back to normal. I miss the old days when harddrives were much smaller and easier to back up, but then again I love how technology has gotten crazy fast and small in physical size. I just counted that I have 9 harddrives! 4 internal that I had painfully backed up and reformated and the other 5 that all external. Most of them are HD footages of past work I've done. All of last week was spent re-installing all the softwares and plug-ins which I was totally overwhelmed with.
There was some fun in backing up this monster cause I came across a bunch of pics I either didn't name right or put in "New folders (1,2,3,4 etc..)" without ever looking back and just totally forgot about. Lets have a look, see shall we? Warning: Quality varies!
Justin started this trend on my mobile. He had everybody do the same face for the contact pics when somebody called my phone...too bad, most got erased by mistake except for his and..

Oh man, I miss Hickory farms already. A tradition since I was young was to eat loads of this sausage and chesse with honey mustard on crackers during the holidays.

It's the Scottie car!! Hey, I'm not that spoiled and I can't afford my own lambo, but I am super happy with the Materia otherwise known as the "BB"...but now its officially the "Scottie". The family insisted I trade in my car and got this one which mario loves cause its so roomy.
Zippin down the street in what my mom calls a hearsey lookin' car. If you die, I'll be cruisin' your body to the funeral in this pimpin ride in no time.
Your lucky thats not a middle finger. I've almost been run off the road by lame truck drivers and crazy ass tailgaters (Justin can tell you about that) with my bird. Here I'm enjoyin' the ride being a tourguide for my guest. That's DJ stormshadow with me btw...We've got big plans in the future with our music.
The interior of the car has one awesome feature, which happens to be another best valentines gift, because it was from Ida (my fiance) and also Mr.ASS (my manager)!
This 7' inch player came from Japan and includes a 40 gig HDD for all the music and a rear view camera. I've been listening to Lady GaGA quite a bit. :P:

WARNING NERD ALERT:
I can't wait to try out my next gift. I'm ready to play with it now, but I have to wait till I'm done with this blog. I was in the process of rebuilding and reformatting my computer, but decided to wait till I came across this MONSTER graphic card...
OH yea. Basically means I can kick all sorts of ass on any programs that require intense graphics. It ain't top of the line, but the value is unreal. I remember spending 5XXX hk dollars on these graphic cards, but now the prices are not even half!!... NOW I'M PLAYING WITH POWER!
This thing is huge!! Lets hope it'll fit into my computer. hahaha.
I also had to pick up a 640 GB HDD with some Bday moola. The one I'm using right now is about to fail. Its giving out all sorts of bad signs, so that's why I'm going to kill my computer after this blog. Lets hope I don't die along with it.

Incase your wondering I spent Valentines with the family (I'll post the food pictures later). We ate loads of food ranging from cheese fondue (my fav) to chicken adobo and country fried steak with deviled eggs. hmmmmmm. The rest of the evening was spent quietly with Ida and Mario catching up on American Idol. It was a perfect day!

Let's change the subject: I'm a little late with this blog cause I've been spending lots of time being a tour guide during the days and nights after coming back to HK. So lets get to it, Patrick Chow, here's what you've been waiting for! Bitch.

Macau part 2: The concert. 澳門 part 2: 演唱會
Backstage every guest/artist that sings on my dads show gets a custom design board. We don't use the ones that are hangin' on the doors, these babies get flown across to every show around the world. Guess who does them? My dad. That's right, I'm a prince baby.
每個係我dad 既演唱會表演既嘉賓, 係後台都有自己度身訂造既牌. 我地唔會用個d普通掛係門上面既牌架, 就算去到世界各地做show 都會帶住佢地架. 你地估下係邊個整既? 就係我dad 啦. 冇錯, 我就係皇子baby啦.

Well, here I am!! Security was real tight not allowing us to go into the crowds. I had to enter on the stage and walk down the stairs...like a woman holding up my dress. Luckily I didn't fall. "Okay people, shut up, I'ma comin!" For those of you who don't know, I'm suppose to be a money god who hands out money in red pockets. You'd have to ask the fans what they got...I just deliver the goods.
我黎啦! D保安好嚴格, 唔俾我地行去觀察席中間, 我要先上台, 再行返樓梯落下, 好似女人拎住條裙咁, 好彩冇跌到啫! ‘ 好啦大家唔好嘈啦, 我行緊黎啦’ 如果你唔明發生緊乜野事既話, 其實我係要扮一個掌管財富既神去派利是. 你地可以問下d fans 我派左乜野, 因為我真係負責派架咋.
After that it was time to change into my next outfit for my solo part. Here I'm standing with Creepkin who helped out and also does many designs including my tee with our Aiya logo on it.

Right after my part I got to relax for a little while, before going back out onto the stage I took a pic with my family my fiance and momma. I've got my BLING towel ready and thanks AnD for the blazin' RED cap that fit the mood of the CNY!!

The show was over before I knew it. It was well recieved and nearly everybody stayed. Only the old gambling farts left like they had to just lose more millions of dollars in the casino. Only the hardest of the hardcore fans stayed behind OH YEA!

After the show we had to depart. It was hard to say goodbye, but like always there has to be an end. I had to leave the AnD boys behind as we had no idea where were being taken and were whisked off to the many underground layers of the venetian hotel.
我地要準備離場啦, 真係唔捨得講bye bye, 但總有散場既時候. 我要懶低AnD 既朋友仔啦, 因為我都唔知跟住會去邊. 大會帶我地穿過好多地下通道返到去威尼斯人酒店啦.

Macau 09 Sam Hui show @ Venetian Hotel part 1

This last week was CRAZY! We took a trip to Macau a few days early to enjoy the food and sight see before performing at the Venetian with my dad. The show was a success and most of the hardcore fans stayed all the way through...including the masters of AnD rottendoubt, Etchy and Stephen!
上個星期真係好癲呀! 我地係同dad開show 前兩日, 先到達澳門週圍食野同睇野.
演唱會好成功呀, 好多忠實粉絲全程投入, 仲包括AnD 既首腦rottendoubt, Etchy 同 Stephen!

Yea, we got special treatment from the Hotel...thanks to all the staff at the Venetian. They were all awesome. Here we got travel in our own van (a total of 3 for the entire group) and on our way to check into the hotel.
冇錯, 我地得到酒店既特別安排, 真係要多謝威尼斯人既各位員工. 佢地真係冇得頂. 我地就係坐係呢架私家van入面啦( 總共有成3部架!), 準備向酒店出發~
Now, we couldn't check in right away so when we did arrive the first thing we did was eat and shop.
由於我地到埗後唔可以即刻check-in , 所以我地第一件事可以做既就係食野同shopping 呀!

Making our way back down the stairs. Justin thinking about all you girls on AnD...me pouting my lips cause my heels still hurt like hell and that muscle dude whose protecting all of us. Dad is thinking "what the hell are you morons doing".
正在行緊落樓梯途中, Justin 諗緊所有AnD的女仔啦! 我揙緊咀因為我隻腳痛到死, 仲有個大隻佬就負責保護我地. Dad 應該係度諗緊’ 你班蠢材係度做緊乜呀?’
Time to check in as we squeeze ourselves in the lift of the Venetian. Justin is pleased he can fit.
終於去check-in 啦~ 我地全部人迫入一部’車立’ . Justin 好開心佢迫得入.
The rooms were all insane. Probably one of the craziest places I've stayed at. Seems everybodys favorite was the welcoming toilet seat. When you walked into the bathroom the lid opened up ready for you to shit on...I mean sit on. I'm saving that for the video.
間房簡直係痴線, 呢度可算係我到過既酒店中最癲既一間. 好似個個都係最鍾意個會歡迎你既坐廁. 當你行入洗手間個時, 廁蓋會自動打開等你屙…. 係等你坐. 我會幫坐廁拍到video 架.
They've really outdone themselves with the decor. Makes my place look like a dump.

After checking in we spent the rest of the day checking out the hotel...which is massive. We got lost way too many times. Just look at the face of my Uncle Ricky and Mr.Ass on the phone, even together we're already walking in three different directions.
The next day was really nutz. Something I really didn't expect to do. First we headed out to the Sky Tower.
Check in 之後, 我地就係酒店四週圍行吓….. 超大! 成日都會行錯路. 睇下Uncle Ricky個樣同埋講緊電話既Mr Ass, 雖然一齊行, 但係我地3 個有各自既方向.
第2 日簡直’近’呀~ 真係我意料之外! 首先, 我地去到觀光塔.

Helloooo from way up here. Actually it was really fun. I was pretty suprised when I leaped off I felt ready for it and comfortable. Looking down is no problem...looking up is what gets me. *palms start to sweat*
你~地~~好~呀~~. 其實真係好好玩架. 出奇地當我跳出去時, 我覺得我已做好心理準備, 而且好自由自在. 向下望完全冇問題, 但係向上望就……手心開始出汗 (-_-!)

After the all the fun we headed back and found the most famous spot for Egg tarts.

Rehearsal time! I was really impressed with the mic and the earphone monitor. Usually the techies have to adjust so many levels of sound so that I can actually hear what I'm singing to, but in this situation it was all good and perfect.
彩排時間! 今次個咪同埋個ear-mon 真係好正呀! 通常佢地要較好耐, 先至可以調教到我聽到自己唱乜, 但係今次一開就得啦!

That night after rehearsals we all decided to head down to a LEGAL area where you can set off fireworks. It's like only one spot, so if you've ever watched "Saving Private Ryan's" opening battle then you know what to expect. In this situation I was really "Saving Ryan's Private"
彩排完之後既晚上, 我地一齊去左一個合法既地方放煙花. 好似得一個地方咋, 當你睇完"Saving Private Ryan's"既’ 戰火’ 之後, 你就想像到當時既情形. 其實我都有份"Saving Ryan's Private" 架.

The only thing that got damaged was my HD camera (many of the shots cut away leaving it choppy). I think it was due to a combination of sound loudness (it was ear piercing the entire time) and getting layered in the smoke and ash. I do have some footage and saved it just for you guys to see. A sacrifice well worth it.
