Back to the 80's
Thursday, May 28, 2009 2:56AM / Standard Entry
I've been having a war with Patrick Chow as we challenge each other on MSN about the music from the 80's. Luckily, he's a little older, so he ranges from Wham, ABBA to Boney M. Nothin wrong with that, you'll find plenty of his favs on his blog.
I actually liked the group Aqua "Barbie Girl" although I prefer the songs Dr Jones and Lollipop.

Monday, May 11, 2009 11:55PM / Standard Entry
Happy Birthday Alive Not Dead.
2 years already! Can't wait for the 10 year anniversary party.
Maybe next year I'll be a featured guess! OOoooh.
Anyway, great birthday party! Here are my pics:
Very Loud and Very Rock! All the bands were awesome.
Ida and I enjoying the front row seats.
The crowd in Awe. Little did they know Conroy would inflate a condom on stage.
24 doin it.
Justin takin' a pee cause he's so excited!
Getting squashed with Ida and MissyK.
My bro Ryan on the right gettin ready to rock it out on stage. My other brother Andrew...you know, I still can't believe I've known this guy for 9 years. hahaha. It was like yesterday we met. I'll always remember the Boat trip and I'll always remind you...I used to be skinny and handsome like you. I have no idea what happened.
Ryan rockin' to dads tune always makes the crowd go nutz.
Giving justin some tips? Going to make out? Going to fight? Going to slap him?
Nah...just posin'

Chicken wings were good.
Lookin' sideways is PHatrick.
Berton laughing at his own jokes, which I didin't get.
I get asked this question alot about my hands. The REAL question is Justin's face. What's he lookin' at and what's he thinkin?
My groupies. Justin, Mr.ASS and the creepiest creeper guy....who is he?
Happy Birthday AnD. Thanks for the supplied condoms and 24 herbs cd...which is packaged like one too. Brilliant.
Just for fun, here's an old post I put up 2 years ago. 2 years later, it needs some updates. Lets see how it held up.
I'll update with underlined and BOLD text.

Sunday, Jul 29, 2007 3:46PM / Standard Entry
1 commentSo I got friends and family here and it's really exciting to see what everyone is up to. As some of you may know, Ryan Hui is my bro. I've been busy following him and filming him for his upcoming video diary's. Starting in August I will continue to upload footage of shows Ryan has done with some of the artist on here.
I think thats pretty clear. I still have so much footage its unreal. Would you still like to see them? Beg Ryan and I. mua hahaha.
So far the experience has been a blast. All you guys playing in the shows are fantastic and all you fans are just so supportive. It's quite awesome to film everything and I'm sure I've got some great footage.
2 years later with a slew of awesome bands now on the sites it was really badass to watch them play live.
If you checked out Ryan' blog you can see we did work on our dad's video recently. Be sure to check back, because as soon as I'm allowed, i'll put it up on youtube for you all to see. We both participated in a rap along side with dad with a positive message. My first real mv and upon viewing me, your eyes might go blind
(I'm not quite the looker like my bro).http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ke6pjDFCRMI Well here it is, hahaha. Wow, a comment was just posted, seems my dad doesn't have it anymore and is very dysfunctional. sniff sniff.

Check out the guy between Ryan and I. Wonder what he's sayin' on the phone? "Wat da hell?" You could make your own caption.
Nobody made a caption. wtf!

Star ferry area. I was praying for it to rain. It's been so hot in Hong Kong lately. Luckily we got some clouds...but that didn't stop the sweat from pouring down.
Prior to that I've only sang with dad and bro on stage. My passion is mostly film and gaming.
Hope you didn't cringe too much on my canto rap. hahaha.
Anybody see the new Transformers yet? I'm off to check it out Monday. I think I'll have to see it at megabox. I remember watching die hard there. The sound and picture was really top notch. so I'm really looking forward to this popcorn flick.
Wow. That was the last time I saw the film and part 2 is just a month away. Time really does fly by. I did see MONSTER vs ALIENS with Berton @ MEGABOX. If you haven't seen it in 3D yet, please do it RIGHT NOW! It's amazing. We were speechless through the whole film.
I'm a sucker for movie trailers. Whose looking forward to some epic films coming out this year? I was shocked when I saw the trailer for

Alvin and the chipmunks. WOAH is all I could say. hahahaha.
You know what. I still haven't watched it. hahaha. I've only seen clips here and there. 2 years later...does it still hold up?
Any gamers out there? I'm sure seeing alot of peeps with DS mario kart battling each other. From the staff of the shows to the bands. I better bring mine next time. I pretty much grew up on games, so I'm pretty unbiased and give every console and game a chance. The E3 show wrap up was insane. Lots of crazy games to look forward to this year! Did you catch the latest biohazard (residient evil) 5 trailer?

YIKES! It's like Resident evil 4 on steroids in Africa!?!?
Another milestone. The game is out already and was much hyped. I think my words aboved spoke the truth, it was really just Resident Evil 4 on steriods. It was an awesome game and Co-op is fun, which I completed with Justin, however, it just WASN'T scary anymore.
Mario galaxy on the wii looks like it'll bring back some crazy childhood feelings back. Ah, good ol' gaming.
Finished this too. Amazing game...reading this just makes me want to go back and play it Btw Patrick Lee, I still got your present here.
Well, hope you all have a great Sunday and upcoming week. It's halfway through the day, I gotta go have some fun!
WEll, hope you had a great Sunday and upcoming week. It's midnight, I gotta go have some fun! Thanks Scottie 07. See ya next year!

Final Fantasy: Complete.
Thursday, Apr 23, 2009 3:10AM / Standard Entry
Nerd alert. Nerd alert.
Mmmm I just purchased "Final Fantasy: Advent Children Complete" on Blu Ray. If your an jrpg gamer then you'll know that life isn't complete without Final Fantasy.
I basically paid full price for a demo, cause the blu ray comes with the Playstation 3 version of Final Fantasy XIII. Thankfully, the demo can last nearly 2 hours making me drool for the full game later this year. It's amazing. I'm already itchin' to play it over and over until then.
This was the old-school Final fantasy. Still one of my favs.
But now playing FFXIII in full HD is like toying with CG.
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ephE0HMts0
The series has really branched out. I never could get into FFXII cause of its gameplay style, but this plays like old-school with a new feel. I'm lovin' it.
Lovin' so much I dropped by the Sony building in Ginza, thanks to Ida for bringin me.
They had a full scale launch for the CG movie directors type cut with plenty of features. Love the full size gun-sword.
Okay, so I'm not that hardcore and didn't buy a whole new PS3 just for logo, but I'm sure there are plenty of fans.
This was awesome. A giant scaled Midgar city!
This was first seen on the playstation 1 on a demo disc as well. It amazed gamers across the world and the game Final Fantasy 7 is still one of the highest rated games around.
Close up...remember what happened to this section? Cmon, I can't be the only one who knows.
Here's my copy. So who wants to come over and play? hahaha.

Japan-Round1-FIGHT!

Don't forget to play this track while you read.
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBtZk13miAE
Hey guys I'm back! I was in Tokyo having weddin' photots taken...guess what?? No photos for ya! You'll just have to wait for the right time. Until then, I will spoil you with these pics I took during the trip.
Mmmm..Airplane food. I'm a freak when it comes to airline food. I usually eat EVERYTHING and I normally love it. Dunno why. Here we have some fish with beef, Japanese style!
So here we go. That kid next to me had some serious issues. He was scracthin' his thing (I hope and pickin' his nose which I think he ate) Gross boy. Don't underestimate the corner of my eye.
It took us an entire day to reach our location. I ran into AnD's very own Daniel Wu in the terminal when we just arrived (probably the same flight). He was all geared up for vacation to Hawaii...I sure wish I was headed in that direction, but the photos were way important.

Once we arrived we took a bullet train to our next stop "Shizuoka". Mom's gonna hate me for saying this, but everytime I visited Japan as a kid I've always wanted to ride the bullet. She would always point at the JR line and say just ride the train, its the same thing. So this day was like a dream come true. hahaha

Yea, a childhood dream come true! Time to ride the train! Whoop whoop. This sucka hauled ass and only took about an hour, which would've taken 4 by car.

Let's GO!

I never travel without a gaming machine. In this case I brought my itouch, my dingoo and my DS. hahaha. Now I could never be bored while waiting. I was mainly playin' around with the itouch. Maybe I should do some game reviews...some very interesting games which the DS and psp better watch out for.
The place we stayed was really like a small town. I think we were the only two walking on the streets. We had a few days to kill due to weather changes and walked wherever we could walk to. First place we had to find was FOOD! We walked into this random place:

I was so lookin' forward to the food, but couldn't eat much until after we took the photos. Ida and I found this local restaurant that serves soba noodles. mmmm...freakin' so good. I had the fresh tuna sashimi on rice. mmmm.

I was in heaven. mmmmm...

So was Ida. A simple dish, but mmm, mmm, good.

The place also had a self service area where we could choose some appetizers (as MissScarlet says, vampire food) we staked these babies and ate em' all.

It rained a little, but that didn't stop us from checkin' out the joint. Found a fun gaming center and I got totally addicted to those coin machines....you know the one where you drop coins on the tray and try to push out more coins. I could live there.

Here's a map which is even more cool cause Mt Fuji is on it. We noticed a posting for a zoo. I couldn't believe it, we had nothin' else to do, so we decided to check out the safari.

Before doin' that we spent the day at an outlet. Its a lot like the U.S types. Best part?? I couldn't believe we found a Cold Stone. Holy crap...I'm in heaven again. I had to get the 'Like it' size. I wasn't allowed the "gotta have it" Size. hahaha.

After the outlet we ventured into this BBQ styled rest....the food was amazing.

mmmmm.. Let me cook for you!

That's right. Playing cooking mama on the DS has paid off. Finally.

Okay, today we took a cab to the safari. Taxi drivers probably make more money than actors. We took a 30 minute ride that costs us almost 700 hk dollars. What the hell. The place we stayed had no buses going to this place. I'll explain why in a minute. The pic above is one of the tour buses that takes you through this safari. I never knew it would be like Jurrasic park.

We were given a few trays of food. What's this raw meat? We were going to feed??

Awww...This bear reminds me of Mario. We got really close and even fed the bears! Crazy.
We got to feed the lions as well. We used prongs to give them the raw meat. I should start using those when I feed mario snacks. As you can see, you could stick your finger through the cage...but really?

Awwww....IT looks like Mario.

I had to post this pic only because I wanted to say these words:
Mami got an ass like a donkey, with a monkey,
look like King Kong.
The animal that actually resembles mario the most.

Awww...It looks like Mario. He'll probably end up lookin' like that soon. hahahaha.

Somebody taking a tan and showin' off his balls.

Awww...It looks like Mario. No, maybe it looks more like me.

Okay, keep doing it. Awww. It looks like Mario sleeping.

Simba's pride...now locked away. Simba was hungry and pissed.

Now this is why you couldn't take a bus. You could only enter the park with your own car. There is no public transportation to this place. Every animal seen pictured so far can be just inches away from you. There were plenty of rules and security, but would you really want to drive your spanki' new pimping BMW next to a cheetah or hell even a rhino?

Feeding the animals made me hungry too. So afterwards we found the best sushi bar yet. You even order by touch screen. The only thing missing was wifi connection so I could order via itouch.

Still hungry at this point, but I gave up so I can eat at other places.

Here is that coin machine I was explaining about earlier. Mario one is the best! We won an extra bucket full of coins...only to lose them all later.
Here's a night view from the hotel room. Mt Fuji is right in front of us. Can't you see it?

Okay, here's a better view. Yes, we were that close.
Alright, I can't end this without at least one picture with the cherry blossoms. We got to the place with perfect timing with all the cherry blossoms out.
Oh alright. One more.
Yea!
Stay tuned for Round 2. Comin' up soon. More food, more cherry blossoms and an awesome night with AnD friends from Japan!
KANPAI!
