    I turned 21 in January this year and I was very, very surprised at what I got. Anyone that really knows me knows that I love Harry Potter, so, what would be more fitting for my 21st than to get the whole series? Well, I don't think anything.

    I was very lucky to get this particular version. After Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows came out a few months later in October they released here a special boxed set which wasn't to be on sale until the 16th. You know how it was with all the secrecy and closed door stuff. Anyway, my mum was shopping in Dymocks and saw this boxed set and she asked about it. She didn't have the money for it at the time, so she went home and Dad gave her the money. She was worried that there wasn't going to be any left because there was only 2 on sale per Dymocks store Australia wide, so it was the quick or the dead, so to speak.

    However, she was lucky, the one I got was the last one from our local store. So what's so special about it? Well the box they come in for starters...it's like the school trunk, and the books are the American versions. It was the only way you could get the American ones here unless you purchased them from the Internet. So I'm very lucky to have them. I have read them, twice! And, no I am not decorating the box with the stickers! I want to keep it in absolute perfect condition because I think of all the kids that could have gotten this set and thrown away or wrecked the box, ripped the dust jackets, etc. It would be worth more left like it is. However, there is a fold in one of the dust jackets, the Order of The Phoenix one, and I don't know how it happened. But it's not so noticeable, so it's all good.

    Sorry the quality is so dodgy, but I took them on my phone, it was hard to try and get the light right in my room.

    Lucky you.  Like your parents, I buy books for my daughter all the time.  Harry Potter is not quite her favourite though she finished all of them.  

    Try Jennifer Donnelly since you are done with Harry Potter but its a lot on romance.  This box is great for safe keeping.

    Where did you get the cool HP trunk?  I love the books!  I was that crazy person at line at midnight every time a new one was released!
