Sorry for the late response. To get in the comic industry the best way is to study different american artists and to really understand how to tell a story. When you pick up a comic book try to understand why they do certain shots or camera shots and what's most important in the US comic industry is to pick a style that you like best.  Then take your portfolio to conventions like the Sandiego Comicon and meet some editors from the big companies.  I hope that helps!
