We studied all through the summer into the early winter, until it was too cold to study anymore. I now don't take classes but will practice the moves that my old 师傅 taught me!

I've had an idea for an apocalypse movie for some time now, and every once and a while I head out onto the streets with my camera for some inspiration. Of course, these locations are here today, gone tomorrow, so often I'll see it from a cab, come back the next day, and it's gone. A lot of these neighbourhoods have sentimental resonance for me, especially the old Sanlitun area which, in the mid-90's, was at its peak in terms of indie down-to-earth nightspots. Please be kind, don't copy these pics without okaying it with me first!

These are a mishmash of photos from a bunch of shoots, some acting, others directing. Plus there's one still from when I taught how to teach cooking a pizza on Beijing television! I don't have Italian heritage, but they thought Greek was close enough.
