Out From Hibernation
( 繁 | 简 | 日 )Tuesday, Jan 13, 2009 1:24PM / Standard Entry
Hehe hi everyone. It's been awhile since I've come on. Sorry about that. I've been trying to put together some clips of myself and since I'm not very good with computers.... it's been taking me forever. Thanx to my brother for helping me find a program... I think I'm getting close now. Hopefully won't take too long to get it finsihed coz.... well I haven't gotten much sleep coz of it. Anyways... while I was trying to pick up clips from previous work, I came across these 2 clips I really liked.
Ok this first one I know is nothing special. The scene is basically about the game is almost over, so someone takes the ball, shoots... scores... game over. So after the director told us that, he didn't assign anyone to take the shot. For some reason.... no one seemed like they wanted the responsibilty. Then as we walked onto the court, one of the fellow actors came up to me and said "看你了" (which kinda means... "we're counting on you"). I responded.. "Huh?? why?" and he just said no one seems to want to do it. So... I just said ok. So after the camera started rolling, we swung the ball around.... the ball finally got to my hands... I faked... drove past the defender.... pulled up... scored. One take

This next vid... I dunno how to describe.... I guess all I can say is that... well he wasn't too nice to us (his character, not the real life him).... and I miss playing volleyball. hehe

My dad's reaction
( 繁 | 简 | 日 )Tuesday, Dec 16, 2008 2:03AM / Standard Entry
Sorry all for the long wait. My dad didn't come back to hk until 2 days ago so i never got to tell everyone how he reacted when he saw the clip. Well... he didn't have any big reactions... someone had already shown him. All he said was.... "Look how handsome your dad used to be." hehe
He said he was about 9 or 10.... which was when he first enrolled to the beijing opera school. Cute and all aside... seeing him in this clip at such a young age reminds me of all the hardship he went through to get to where he is now. Shows how lucky i actually am. I guess i should go work harder and hopefully let him feel proud of something i do. Wish me luck lol.

Bday 2008
( 繁 | 简 | 日 )Saturday, Nov 22, 2008 12:54PM / Standard Entry
Honestly... I've never been a big fan of celebrating my own birthday. But this year... it definitely is one I'll probably always remember.
Run down of this day...
12midnight...
It started off with a small.... but... very sweet and touching, surprise party. Thanx to the amazing 2R!!! And that little doggie hiding in the room... syPHILlis...
And eventhough Daph and Andy weren't here... they gave me the one gift they knew I would drool over... WoW Expansion BABY!!! Oh... and not to forget... the birthday cake was made by Rozy and Race. My favorite cake... Tiramisu!!!!!!!!! It was so good I was drunk with joy. (Or was there too much alcohol??) hehe. Thank you girls.
Rozy going through all the trouble to make the cake...
Race battering away for a long long loooong time. Poor Race. Next time you need someone to help batter or help with anything I'll be ready to help :D

The masterpiece. Isn't it beautiful? And yummy too :D
I forgot what wish I made.... oh well...
Our little 'Wonder Girls' Impression. I'm surprised they didn't puke the cake after seeing me in this pose :P
Thank you again guys and gals. You've made this a very special day for me.
8am...
We had to head off to where the bride was waiting and we had to do the traditional "picking up the bride." Those of u who aren't familiar with Hong Kong weddings, we usually have a tradition where the groom and his best men go to where the bride and bride's maids are waiting. Then we would have to do some tests before they would let us pass and let the bride out.
While waiting outside we got to chat a bit... take pictures... and sweat our asses off.
8:45am...
The wait was finally over and it was time to be tested. Of course most of the tests would be aimed at the groom but as his best men, we would help him. In the process... I ate a slice of lemon... ate a red hot chilli.... had my leg waxed (WTF!!! who the hell thought of this?!?)... stuck my feet in with others in a bucket of ice to retrieve marbles. There were other things too but those are the ones I helped out with. Yes... my leg is still nice and smooooooth!
The bride and bride's maids.
11am...
We got to the.... I forgot what it's called. Some yauht club thingy where the wedding was taking place.
While waiting for everyone to come and set up before the wedding.... I decided to play some real life WorldofWarcraft. If anyone plays WoW... then u can see we're doing Karazhan... Chess Event!!! Becoz the chess pieces aren't clear in this pic.... just to explain... I'm kicking ASS! Never failed in WoW chess... don't plan on failing in real life either. Wahaha...
The groom finally arrives.... no wonder it took him so long. Coz he doesn't know how to drive this thing hehehe.
Stephanie was supposed to be my partner for the wedding. I was supposed to help her with the cake and making sure everything was on time and set up correctly. But since everything was so simple and I didn't really have to help out much.... at the end of the day all I helped out with.... was holding her shiiiiit for her. ALL DAY! lol Sorry Steph. But I'm sure you enjoyed my help carrying stuff more than helping out with the cake. I guess if my career doesn't work out right, I might have a good chance to become a professional caddie.
The Ceremony is taking place in this pic. Dunno why everyone is looking at different direction though. :P
Wish these two love birds a very happy and amazing journey together as husband and wife.
7:00pm...
We went to La Villa for dinner. It's a small place that fits about 50-60 people. It felt like a high school reunion coz about half of the people were from our high school. So it was only for the "buddies" to come. Which also means "parents and elders please stay the F*** away!! Coz there'll be a shit load of drinking going on here." Eventhough this was supposed to be a wedding celebration, the groom found it funny to keep turning the attention on me. I drank sooo much. And if you all don't know... I can't really drink.
8pm... being targetted.
Me and the groom
9pm... getting red...
9:30... getting redder and more drunk...
9:45pm... getting... umm... I guess the only word left is blah. Drunk doesn't even sync with what I look like at this point.
9:46... more BLAH!
10pm... finally we left and took a pic downstairs.... which i have no memory of....
After the dinner we went to a club to do more celebrating..... all i can say is.... I shoulda went home after dinner.... coz.... blah... BLAH... BLA..... BLAAA.... BLAAAAAAAAAH!!!
And last but not least.... THANK YOU to all the people who wished me happy bdays here. I'm glad to have all of you here with me!

Shaolin Series
( 繁 | 简 | 日 )Friday, Oct 31, 2008 1:03PM / Standard Entry
Just got back from promotions for the Shaolin series we did last year. It'll be airring on Nov.3rd on CCTV8. Although i'm glad it's finally being airred, at the same time i'm not glad. Coz to be honest... it's not the best work I've done. Actually in my opinion, probably the worst. But i'm just speaking of myself. So many problems and stuff to deal with during the production, I'm even surprised it was finished on time. But I still have my fingers crossed and hope people could enjoy it since we all put so much effort into it. From this experience i learned a lotta things. Mostly things that i shouldn't do. From watching others and seeing examples people should NOT follow. At the same time I did find one person I really look up to and was so affected with all his hard work and great personality. This person is Christopher Lee (李铭顺).
He is one of the nicest and caring person I've met.... and at the same time one of the most hard working person. Eventhough he's already well established, he is still so humble and works harder than anyone. I'm glad to say that he's a great friend... but also he's a great mentor. Just from watching him work, I learned so much and also want to push myself harder. He also spared his time to help me and teach me when I asked for his advice. I hope one day I can do better to show that his wisdom and time was not wasted. Thank You 铭顺哥哥. It has been a great honor working with you.
Some more pics from the Series I didn't have before...
Yes that red haired, green faced yoda looking guy with the staff is me. I had to dress like that coz the concept was the monks at one point wanted build their morale and also becoz monks aren't supposed to kill, in that makeup, they felt that they were ridding the world of the evil within humans by dressing up as a god. But why in the heck did they choose that hair I will never know. I had a good time with it though. Just one night. This Costume came after halfway through the shoot. I got off work and they asked me to try it. I tried it... then sudden the naughty boy in me went loose. I went around the hotel scary about a dozen people. I would go knock on their doors and then hide. Once they opened their doors I would jump out and scared the crap outta them. Most girls screamed.... most guys would get scared... or angry haha. I scared this one girl so bad that I never knew someone could scream like that. I felt so bad that I stopped afterwards. :P Sorry!!! Wish i kept it for Halloween. But that paint on my face was not fun. It took me at least 8 times to wash it off. Sometimes I would have to put on that make up more than twice a day since we would switch episodes and scenes.
This pic is for Phil. As when he teaches us kicking... he always says "SHOW YOUR ASS!!!"
That kid on the left is acting as the young me. I loved this kid. He's a good looking boy, very talented and very well mannered. Wish him the best of luck in the future and hope he'll achieve great things.
Sometimes it really makes me wonder how do these reporters make up these stupid things. How in their sane mind can they go and write these lies or these ridiculous articles. I have to say... reading these things makes me sad and not angry. But not sad for myself... sad for these people. Sad that they have to use their minds this way and always coming up with bullshit or make up sleezy things so that they can feed themselves. I wish there was another way they could make their living. It just seems like a horrifying job to have. Having to always think on the bad side. I hope that their normal lifestyle wouldn't be affected by this.
Someone wrote this...
This whole thing was made up. I dunno where or how in the world this guy came up with this crap.
This other article wrote that I said i was a kungfu moron. <洪天照:自称“功夫白痴”>
I never said I was a kungfu moron. All I said was I don't really know kungfu coz in my opinion, i think people who start at a young age and have at least 6-7 years of training can really address themselves as they know "WuShu". But i never said I'm retarded in these things. I would love to see these guys say these things in front of my face. Then maybe they can see that I'm not retarded in these fields.... I just don't think i'm well trained to say "I know kungfu" but I think I'm well trained enough to kick the shit out of these idiots. hahah :P
