SYNOPSIS FOR “LOVE HURTS.”

If you needed to prove to the one you love how far you are willing to go for the sake of your union, would you decide to go so far that it hurts you?  “Love hurts.” explores the intricacies of the power of love in the lives of two couples, who somehow get intertwined together through their own decisions to sacrifice for the one that they love.  This film details several instances of sacrifice and other elements of love in any relationship between man and woman, separated by title in three parts, through Promises, Trust, and Responsibility.  

Mark is on a knee in a fancy restaurant, with a beautiful diamond ring in his palm, in front of his longtime girlfriend, Alexis, proposing to her to spend the rest of their lives together.  But she unexpectedly stops him from putting the ring on her finger unless he can promise her three things.  First, no lies.  Second, lots of sex.  And the last?  To have a threesome with another guy.  Now Mark has to decide whether this is something he can do for the sake of love, to share the one he loves and to commit to her fantasy before committing to her reality.
 
Jack is addicted to sex and has been in therapy to deal with his problem.  His wife, Annie, has been supporting him through his ups and downs, even through his infidelity.  But when Jack makes another mistake, Annie is tempted to end her suffering by leaving the only man she has ever loved.  The trust that she had in him after he began therapy is no longer there and now he has to find a way to save his marriage.  The extent of which he takes to regain her trust is a sacrifice that few men would submit to. 

The aftermath of the decisions that each person makes is a responsibility that they must take on but it’s not always something they are willing to do.  But in dealing with the consequences of their actions, only the true power of love can give them the strength to move on…or succumb to the realization that where there is love, there is usually pain.

I have needed a holiday for way too long. I never expected this holiday to be so much fun and so refreshing. The kids were adorable and so lovable. They brought me so much love and energy and again.... love. Don't expect me to look pretty or attractive in the pictures because I would be far from it. Yet.. I hope you will find me lovely in them. Hope u see can see the glow that I see in them. Some things happened during the trip, problems emerged, family feuds were not avoidable, read some pretty tough emails, cried over some silly emotions and much more. For some reasons, I am just grateful that my sister, Ching Ching, was here with me. She made everything easier and lighter with nothing more than a mere smile. I will definitely miss her and the kids.

Billy, the seemingly "MR I understand everything", 12 years old

Sam shyly handed me a pressed coin before we pass through the gate of Disney Land right after toilet visit. I looked at it... my eyes were teary. It felt like a medal for loving and taking good care of the them (the kids). We took some pictures by the fountain. The long path way from the fountain towards the parking lot meant a lot more than just a long walk. I felt like I have done good, looking at the kids and the families from behind... I wondered what life awaits them at home, my own career here in HK, what it would be like waking up the next few days to quite silence without their screaming "Ci Yung Yung, Ci Yung Yung, Ci Yung Yung!" endlessly! I was right... breakfast, lunch and dinner are so quiet now without them.

Looking into the mirror an hour ago, I realized for the very first time truly that I have aged. Well, I never thought I'd have this problem or having to deal with self-resistance towards aging process. Yet... I am feeling it now.

STILL it didn't stop the child in me.

my dad sent me an sms 2 weeks ago saying "I am happy that you are happy and I  AM SO GLAD that you are happy. There are some things that cannot be undone and once you lose it, you lose it. That is YOUTH! DON'T stay up late!"

I was not taking my dad seriously till an hour ago. OK, DAD! I am going to sleep early and get back to shape again!

I want to thank GOD for the wonderful grandkids my dad has! :P
I totally feel like I am younger than Billy. At least I acted that way! hahahhaha... yea.. I am a kid!
