Hiphop/R&B boyband - Big Bang is now one of the current most popular boybands in South Korea. Shot to fame in 2007 with "Lies", they have made their comeback in 2008 with "Haru Haru", or Day by Day.
Members display talents such as rapping and vocals. TOP, being famous in the underground music scene as an established rapper, took on the rapping parts along with G-dragon, who had been with YG Entertainment for a long time. Tae Yang, also once trained with G-dragon, is one of the vocalists in the band. Seungri, the baby of the group, debuted due to a talent search, credited for his awesome dance skills. Daesung, known for his acts on variety shows, was the only trainee not debuted before Big Bang.
