Hong Kong Dog Rescue Peak to Fong 29th Nov 2009

The event itself is going to be bigger and better than ever - the street party should be quite lively with live Dixieland Jazz, lots of booths, and games. As you know, this is a huge day for dogs and dog lovers in Hong Kong. And the funds raised will enable HKDR to continue its work of rescuing and rehoming abused and abandoned dogs.
It'll take place on Sunday the 29th of November, starting point at the peak at 10am.
On behalf of HKDR, and myself their ambassador, would like to let everyone know how thankful and grateful we all are for all the growing support throughout the years. This year's Peak to Fong will be a real treat of an outing for not only our four legged furry loved ones but for all family and friends too. Not to be missed! Oxfam 100km Macleose Trailwalker

November turns out to be a huge month for me.

Started training for the Macleose end of May, in HK and even overseas with Chris in Iceland. Eric in Africa and myself in Paris. We, team 0505 a.k.a The Happy Eagles (Chris McCurdy, Johnny Hanson, Eric Cheng and myself) all managed to complete the trail together from start to finish, in 28hours and 35 minutes.

(Johnny unfortunately couldn't make the final photo as he was receiving a much needed after race physiotherapy session. )

It's a great team building experience, one I'd definitely recommend on giving a go at least once in your life. Such spectacular landscapes, pure white beaches, and great camping spots, it's for sure A MUST SEE! We're actually thinking about doing it again next year, that's how great it felt. Being all first timers this time round, we'll be much better prepared for it.

Rosemary Vandenbroucke (Chinese Name: 虹萱) is a Hong Kong model, actress, singer-songwriter, and fashion designer. She spent her childhood in France. After her primary school studies she and her family moved to Hong Kong, where she attended international school.

At age 14 she participated in 2nd Elite Model Look and won the championship. In 1996 she started modelling and was appointed Saint Laurent Ambassador 1998 by French apparel brand Yves Saint Laurent. She has gained exposure in fashion shows, advertisements and from 2001 in films.

Rosemary began to study guitar and songwriting in year 2001 and has since written some 30 songs. Her debut album Dreams Come True was released on 21 February 2006, with Cantonese, Mandarin and English songs all written by Rosemary, and performed by herself on lead vocals and guitar. Her first major hit "I Didn't Know" was inspired by one of her male friends; Rosemary said he was depressed but she had no time to be with him.

In January 2006, Rosemary was invited by fashion manufacturer Suen Yan in mainland China to create her own fashion brand Rosemary, with fashions designed by herself.
