"Sometimes I come up here at night, even when I'm not fixing the clocks, just to look at the city. I like to imagine that the world is one big machine. You know, machines never have any extra parts. They have the exact number and types of parts they need. So [if that is the case]...I have to be here for some reason. And that means you have to be here for some reason, too."

Back in the states and I don't know how the Japanese adjust when leaving their country. Why is everything so SLLLLOOOOOOOOOW-moving???
Catching up on all the sleep I abandoned during this vacay. There's always so much to see of a place and so much more of the world to see. I am quite an intense traveler and talk about coming back with battle wounds: a busted toe, scraped knee, bruises on both legs (one the size of a disc), and scratches here and there.
What was I doing? Having too much fun I guess. It was an unbelievable trip, both the good and the bad. Next vacay, I want to do something more relaxing...like Thai massages or snowboarding in the Swiss Alps. Although, I may squeeze in a trip to HK since I won the airfare at a party last month. Now that I'm living in the middle of the Pacific again, there's like some magnet drawing me to all the great Asian cities.
For now, please allow me some time before posting on SF/Japan. In the meantime, how about I start paying back the IOU on Korea?
