Last week Friday the 13th I returned from London. On the airport they have a PC shop specialized in MACs. As the Pound sterling compared with the Euro is quite low, I decided to bring back an iMAC.
n the shop they had the newest 24" version, the middle model was out of stock so I bought the machine wiith the highest system specs.
Arriving at the airplane door to get in I was told that the box was too big. After talking with the hostess kindly if she could help me out it was decided that the box could go on the flight deck for this time only.
Arriving at my destination a custom officer came to me and said: "Your box cannot go further, please step aside". After asking why he told me that he was only joking....can you imagine???
Anyways making my way to the bagage claim area I saw that at every exit custom officers were checking passenger's luggage. I took a cart and placed the big iMAC box flat on it and I placed my travel luggage on top of it. Walking to the custom officers almost every passenger was asked to open up their luggage. When it was my turn they smiled and told me to carry on.
And the rest is history, I am now enjoying working on my iMAC and I love it.
