  Well the  Wonderful Summer is  well and truly upon us :) I must say for me it  has been  one of Amazing   Transformation and  Wonders to  say the very least  !  I hope it  is  blessing you  with manifold gifts too :)

• Farewell to an Arboreal Friend of Mine

  Greetings All 

  Today has  been a started as a normal day in France , beautiful clear blue skies , the sound of crickets and frogs  going about their daily business and me toiling away in my garden  :) Then  things very abruptly changed  , what I can only describe as a wind that that seemed to have been drinking  can after can of redbull with a side order of espresso arrived  :) which sent me scurrying back  into the safety of  the wolfshead residence , then as they say the heavens opened and my did they  give gifts in abundance  to the  mortal residents of the area !
  
  
   I was treated personally  treated to torrential  rain  with  hailstones  the size of my finger nail beating against my windows , thunder and lightning that I can only describe as cataclysmic , which then sent me into  a paroxysm  of panic and I was then running on sheer adrenalin  whilst  trying tounplug the computer , live box  adsl connection and every piece of electrical equipment  in the houseat once  ! Halfway throw my valiant  endeavors  to preserve  my wonders of  modern technology I heard a sound than be best described as a combination of a  nuclear explosion com and  the noise of a person  tearing a sheet of paper asunder amplified  to the n'th degree !  Glancing out of my window I  realized something had altered in the landscape that surrounded me , yes  the wonderful ancient 100 foot tall  ash tree  that borders my  garden  was now lying prostate across   the garden fence , I have to say I was mortified at that point , not because of   the damage  that it had caused in it's descent , more of it's demise , ever since  I moved into the property it has always been there , I have photographed it through the changes of  seasons  every year , it  was the resting point of  the numerous forms of wildlife including  ravens and  my resident  golden eagle , yes my may call me a hippy tree hugger lol but  for  me personally  the local  landscape has lost a  very important part of itself  , so adieu to you wonderful tree that has been  a source of inspiration , wonder and joy for me  for so many years  !
