two weeks ago, we performed alongside 7 bands including a KL based band Nao in the Singapore Chinese Indie Music Festival 2009 orgainised by Rui. it is a collaborative and entertaining show because some of the local bands did covers of other local bands. we were really honored to be involved in it and i really proud of our local talents, friendship and music.here's a video of us covering LGF song 我懂.the songwriters of 我懂 Chun and Regine from LGF performing 天天艳阳天 with us.almost-famous.tv a online TV media covering the event.SCIM Festival 2009 bands are Elyzia, Redpoll, Ah5ive, MoMo, LGF, Nao (KL), 天地会 & La'dies. Some album CDs

i bought some CD albums last/this month from different sources as some might not be available here.Stars & Dresden dolls were bought from a online used CD store called www.secondspin.com. they are quite a fast & reliable company. bought a number of CDs from them.beth gibbons & portishead were purchased from ebay because HMV in Singapore was selling them both for $50 plus and i got it like $30 online.only arcade fire was purchased in Gramaphone a local CD shop.some people might say hey why don't you just download for free. yes i do download but only to sample the songs. that's the advantage of the net. if i really like it, i will buy it. Usually i would buy the CD to ripped AIFF because they offered more details and layers than MP3. i have picky ear lah
some people also might say wah what's the differences they sound the same to me! well, MP3 is like a low resolution JPEG while AIFF is like a TIFF which have more details & sharpness when zoomed in. but i guess people nowadays only see with their eyes and never listen with their heart in music. like what stars say in their first song from their album 'Heart', hi i'm "band member" and this is my heart...i enjoying listening to my purchases so far
