Tow Truck - A Love Story Trilogy + Epilogue

It has been a week not to be relived. Just the night before, Twiggy (the beetle) has fallen 'sick' again and in the morning suppose to make her wedding car debut.

7 days, 3 tow trucks and 1 major event later - here is the ending - happy ever afters? - let's hope three times a charm.

To April & Boi who I loved so dearly, may you have a wonderful life together. Candice & Ye Siang who were there all this while for this ordeal. Anthony's special guest appearance on Part II and his wonderful photographs. Patrick who had to help me find a screw driver. Inez and Johan for stayng behind the first time around. Steiner for having to redo the decorations and Jason for helping with the shooting part of this epilogue.

The 3 Tow Truck drivers - you guys are the best. The receptionists from AAS who have been patient with me and understanding my frustrations. My mechanic Gan who probably benefited the most out of this collateral income.

Everyone who has dropped a comment, SMS, called, came up to me to ask how Twiggy is - as if she is a real person (in many ways she is).

If there is a lesson I have learnt from this past week - relationships are not easy, you really have to work hard to make it work; now, to apply this with humans.

Award-winning designer/filmmaker Randy Ang is the co-founder of Originasian Pictures, Sinema.SG and Sinema Old School.He is also the executive producer and art director of the cult independent feature film ‘Becoming Royston (2007)’ and the producer and marketing/creative director of feature film ‘The Days 歲月 (2008).

In 2006, recognizing the immerse potential of online communities, Originasian Pictures created Sinema.SG - a resource and news webzine on all things related to Singapore films. In December 2007, he co-founded Sinema Old School - an independent high-definition cinema dedicated to Singapore films and located in the heart of the Old School creative enclave.

Since 2001, he co-founded and currently serves as the creative director of Singapore-based design agency Caffeine Creative. He has worked with clients such as The Esplanade, EPSON, Panasonic, Singapore Health Services, Procter & Gamble, Cathay-Keris Films and The Picturehouse and the Ministry of Communications & the Arts.

His belief in the power of imagery and the influence it has on society and its people, has seen him assembling teams of photographers and designers to collaborate on projects for various non-profit organisations like the Singapore Disability Sports Council, the Association for Persons with Special Needs and Mercy Relief.

A regular speaker and presenter, he also sits in the industry focus committee with his alma-mater, Temasek Design School and is a panel member of the Design Singapore Council International Design Advisory Forum amongst others.

A graduate from Temasek Design School’s Visual Communication programme, majoring in graphic and advertising; Randy was awarded with the Medallion of Design Excellence and also Overall Best Design Award for his graduating project. Other accolades include awards in the Singapore Design
Awards, Creative Circle Awards and the Conqueror Awards. In 2007, he became an Apple Pro.

He is currently producing Originasian slated of feature films and also writing and directing short film “No. 4” as part of the ‘Dystopia’ film project helmed by 10 Singapore film directors and “Strong Thong” both short films is slated for 2009.
