ニコの家族とフィルとで、灣仔のグランド・ハイアット・ホンコン（香港君悦酒店）（エキシビションセンターのすぐ後ろにあるホテルです）の日本料理店「鹿悅」に行ったようですね〜。

The article says Nic' family & Phil had their dinner at "Kaetsu", the Japanese restaurant in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, Wan Chai. ... I guess(I can't understand exactly about Chinese...).

haha, Phil & Nic were lost their way in the middle of hole!

ところで、記事に、ニコのキャップに「ルーカス」と息子の名前のロゴあった、と書かれてますが、なんでフィルのキャップは「alive not deat」のロゴだった、って書いてないんだ！（笑）

Anyways, the article also says Nic's cap has the logo "Lucas" that's his son's name. but it doesn't mention about Phil's cap has the logo "alive not dead"! Why?!

2008年12月の桜庭vs田村の試合のyoutubeビデオを探しまわってたんですが見つからず。多分youtube上にないんだろうな…
しかし禍福はあざなえる縄のごとし、とは良く言ったもので、探索中に面白い柔道のビデオを発見〜♪

Well... I spend very long time to search [Sakuraba vs Tamura 2008 Dec] video on youtube, but I couldn't find it! maybe it's not on youtube...
But it says that "take the bad with the good", I found some very good Judo videos during my "search operation".

総合格闘技関連のメモも一緒に。

Phil updated his photo album, and put some comments on it. So I tried to translate his comments.
and put some memo about MMA on here...

ART OF WAR - GROUND ZERO (MMA event at the Macau Venetian) Sept. 09

I was invited by fellow martial arts enthusiast and good friend, Gus Liem (who also happens to be the head of entertainment at the Venetian in Macau), to the Art-of-War MMA event in September 09. I've been a fan of the sport since its inception, and I am glad to see it gain so much popularity with mainstream audiences in the last decade. Much like meeting my martial-arts-film idols when I first entered the Hong Kong entertainment industry, it was also quite surreal (and awesome) to finally get the opportunity to meet some of my favorite MMA fighters face to face. Here are a few pics from I took at the event.

マーシャルアーツ狂仲間で仲の良い友人のGus Liem（偶然にもヴェネツィアン・マカオのエンターテインメント関連部署の部長でもある）が、「アート・オブ・ウォー MMA(総合格闘技)イベント '09 9月」に招待してくれた。
総合格闘技の黎明期からのファンとして、ここ10年の間にこれほど多くの観客が集
まるようになったのは実に感慨深い。今回ようやく僕のお気に入りの総合格闘技の格闘家達と実際に会うことが出来たんだが、これは、初めて香港のエンターティンメント界に足を踏み入れ、武術映画のヒーロー達と出会った時と同じように、身震いするほどの素晴らしい出来事だったよ。

With Big John McCarthy, the most famous referee in the MMA world. It was surreal (and awesome) hearing him exclaim his catchphrase ("Let's get it on!") not twenty feet in front of me during an actual competition.
ビッグ・ジョン・マッカーシー、総合格闘技界で最も有名なレフェリーと。彼が、実際の競技で、しかも僕の前の20フィート足らずの場所で、キャッチフレーズの「Let's get it on!」を叫ぶのを聞けたってのは本当にとんでもなく素晴らしかった。

John McCarthy/ジョン・マッカーシー
アメリカ合衆国の総合格闘技レフェリー。主にUFCでレフェリング活動を行っている。
試合開始時のレフェリングにおいて定番のスタイルを持ち、選手双方に「Are you ready?」と確認した後、手を叩き合わせて「Let's get it on!」と叫ぶのが通例となっている。

さっきも言ったとおり、リングサイドの最高の席！

因に、「ART OF WAR」とは孫子の「兵法」、「GROUND ZERO」は原爆、水爆等の超強力な爆弾による爆撃後の地表の様子。すげえタイトルだなぁ。

ホイス！ホイス・グレイシー！うひょー！
いや私は兄貴のヒクソンの方が好きだったんですが。ホイスの方がグラウンドは巧いんだけどヒクソンの方が見応えがあったような気がするんだよな、ってそれは素人意見か。

フィルが新しくUPしたアルバムにいっぱい文章載っけてる〜♪
ってんで、ホクホクと訳しようと思ってたら…　たら…

なんかパソコンの様子が…　どうも…　オカシイ？！

つか、先日来、あっちこっち、「？？？」な箇所があったんですが、まあ大丈夫だろ、って放置してたら…どうやらマジでヤバ気です（汗）

とりあえず、今日中になんとかリカバリーしたい…んだけど…（汗）

なんとかなればいいのですが…
