Over labor day weekend, I thought
I would not be in the mood to go out because I had plan to just work and
prepare to move into my new apartment three hours away from where I live now. I
visited the apartment again, now I noticed it’s all residence and doctors
living here. WOW people are like mistaken me for doctors, ahha not now maybe
one day I’ll be. My apartment is on the 10th floor, very nice view,
can see canada from where I live.
I had a blast over the three
days weekend, but was too tired on my first day of internship though. I thought
I was all prepared for my apartment with food wise, but no I forgot rice and
just things to cook with. Now I’m craving for Asian food so bad, because I don’t
even have time to go and look for a good asian restaurant to eat. I’ve been
ordering pizzas and eating fast food which is making me sick.
It’s interesting to intern, I am
starting to learn a lot, work with tons of doctors and different patients, I hope
I do not get infected from them but hey it’s my field gotta prepare for it. I
injected my first patient today, a 75 years old lady her veins were moving so I
missed, I was calmed but still I guess I didn’t want to put much pressure on an
old lady so I didn’t angle right I think. Oh wells there’s other trials coming
up, it’s good that patients do not mind students practicing on them .
Along with internship I am
studying for my certification in pharmacy tech also so it’s quite stressful anyways gotta get some rest for my early shift
tomorrow. I’m so glad to be going home and eat my home cook food tommorrow!
Do you tell the patient in advance that you're an intern and you'll be using them as your practice? lol. I believe you do cos you have to mention this little detail. I have a good vein on my right arm for drawing blood. The lab people love it! haha.
