  Girl that's tough and I don't blame you for holding off on telling them but eventually you're gonna have to.  If you can couple it with some other news, that might make it easier to swallow but maybe they'll be okay when they see how nice Ry is and how good is he is to you.  I don't think they would rather you be with a Chinese guy who doesn't treat you well =/

  Ring shopping is fun.  If he wants something heavy, get him platinum.  Just remember when you do actually get it, try not to wear your ring around the house.  That way it doesn't get scratched up.

  Crescent Jewelers is popular bc of all their commercials, that's why. I wouldn't say their prices are great. You should try to find non-chain store that's been around for a long time. Like a family-run business. Why are you guys shopping for rings if you're not engaged? Or is it just shopping and if you find a nice one, he'll buy it and then you'll wear it and then that's when you're engaged? haha. Happy to hear that you do consider him marriageable.

  There are settings where the diamond seems to sit lower. Unless you've got a 3-carat rock, it's pretty manageable. It's all in the design of the engagement ring band.

  It's so annoying isn't it.  I try to put my foot out behind me to create a space or if I have a shopping bag, I'll loop around my back.  It doesn't always work though.

  the thing about me is that I need to something to be decided quick. This kind of situations make me feel very very uncomfortable as I take comfort is issues that have already been settled. And it is not just about this guy now. There are other complications in my life that makes me think whether I m even  ready for a relationship. But the mere fact that he makes me feel happy is like something out of the blue. Something that no one has ever did to me. And this is what I m scared of ...
