Finally it's done, my showreel is ready.
Well, at least I leave it like it is for now, otherwise I would never have one.
Experienced the burden a director must feel to choose from his footage.

A long overdue update.
I was working with Sony Vegas Platinum Edition editing software and chose this episode as object to work on with.
We shot this film last year sometime and it turned out quite funny.
I did not add all the effects as I'm not the producer. I only act as Raffles Stamford.
What I did for the beginning of my learning experience with editing software is to crop the commercials between the tracks, to put it smoothly together and overlap it sometime.
That alone took me 2 days.
Unfortunately YouTube doesn't allow pieces longer than 10min, so I had to split it again.

The Sony Vegas is quite an elaborate software and not to compare with Windows Movie Maker, for example.
I only scratched what you can do with it.
My next project will be a showreel.

Anyway, enjoy the filmchen and have a good week ahead.

Sometime things happen you don't expect at all. Often they take you by surprise and are not comfortable to deal with, but sometime they're just nice and it feels better than receiving a birthday present.
Like in this case, as I found a CD in my letter box with the recording of my 2008 Short&Sweet Gala finals performance.
Wow, cool.
I want to share it with you.

Like last year here in Singapore I am busy in December with being Santa Claus.
Again I was in Robinson Raffles City.
It is such a fun to see the diversity of reactions on the appearance of the figure Santa Claus.
Luckily most people introduce Santa to their kids as soon they see him.
So, I had much fun with the little little once to listen to their answers on my short questions or when they listen to my short stories.
This year I even had a little show on stage, as Santa had to use his power to lit the Christmas tree, escorted by Darth Vader and a Clone Trooper.
After successfully done all lights went on and snow fell from the top.
That was awesome.
