What are all these calls about pizza??

There's this school event at a pizza joint going on tonight. The flyer I received asks those who plan to attend to pre-order their pizza by a certain time earlier in the day.

I suppose this is so the restaurant is adequately prepared and can defrost the correct number of pizza dough in preparation for the onslaught of diners. haha. No. I'm sure they just don't want to be back-ordered with dissatisfied and hungry patrons rubbing their growling stomachs, waiting on their orders.

The address and phone number is conveniently provided on this homemade flyer by the ~~suck-up~~ parent organizing the event. It's not even a flyer exactly - just a Word document printed and copied.

I call the phone number to put in my order this afternoon and instead of a live person answering the phone, I get an answering machine with one of those robot-sounding digitized voices. I'm certain I misdialed and try again. I get the same machine. Hm. Perhaps this is the method the pizza joint has in place to handle multiple incoming calls, I think to myself.

Anyway, I leave my # and the purpose of my call and hang up.

At the same time, I immediately bing the pizza restaurant and learn the # on the flyer is incorrect. LOL.

That household is gonna be surprised when he/she comes home to find a ton of messages and all about pizza.

And some people may not get their pizzas.

Gosh, who would think that the pizza place would put out an incorrect number on their flyer. Guess they ain't going to be getting as much business as expected :p

Poor household, I would be pissed if I came home to pizza delivery messages :p

Oh, man! Last time I checked, there weren't any pranks being played on Friday the 13th...maybe I'm wrong. There's gonna be a lot of hungry people in Cali tonight! haha!

OMG!!!!!!! I'm planning on having pizza Monday night and now Monday can't get here fast enough!!!
