Big sis received a moving violation for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. "California rolls" don't go down well with law enforcement.

She left me the paperwork and asked that I do the online traffic school for her. She just handed me a file... without even asking and then left on her business trip. She did notice my balking but hoped I'd acquiesce.

I've never done online traffic school. I wasn't too pleased with her way of telling me to take care of her junk. I let it sit for a while as I considered her request.

I finally informed her that I couldn't do it because I was too busy. Heck, I don't know what are the demands of this thing. I really didn't want to get into something I didn't know what to expect.

The last time I attended a traffic school was way before there was a public Worldwide Web. I did it old school - sat in a large space with 4 walls (and a roof) in the company of numerous other traffic offenders and listened to someone yak away for 6 or 7 hours. I took it like a woman.

The next day, sis tells me to send the file to my brother. Apparently, he's willing to take care of it (not being above him bc he's in law enforcement). Cool. I feel no guilt now for being unable to fulfill her wish.

yeah ya get ticketed at a NZ stop sign too if one doesn't completely stop (for like 4 secs or something).  I'm glad you said no, really a bit rude of your sister to push it on you like that.

You'd think she could at least be polite with the request!. I had no idea about online traffic school, I wonder if they do something like that here. I'm pleased she got it sorted with your brother, hope she was more polite with her request to him.

One of my roommates did online traffic school. I remember her being able to watch tv and do the online traffic school thing at the same time.

I would thrown the file at my sister head and slapped her if she ever just demanded I do something for her. You have such self control!

Some sister you've got there! That was rude of her.

Never knew T.S. was available online these days. Not too long ago mom had to go to traffic school old school way.

*appausal* for telling her to deal with it herself. =)

Good for you!  It will be a big mass if the dept. finds out you assist in cheating.

It was more than 10 years ago when I had my last moving voliation.   I attended two days of comedy travel school.  I had a good laugh and actually learned something.

well the online traffic school shouldn't be that hard, just taking the same test as the one u took for the license.  WHH had to take that for a ticket back in CA, and it was quite easy.  But anyway, ur sister really trusted u.

I hate when someone close to you no longer actually makes a polite request.  Just because you're sisters it doesn't mean she can't say "Would you please do this for me?" or "Can you possibly do X?" or "Could I please borrow X?"  You know exactly what I'm talking about.  I'd give my sister a kidney but I know she'd just say "I need your kidney" and then expect it on a silver scalpel.

Don't do the on-line driving school anyway.  That's gotta be illegal, even in California. lol
