    My child playing piano.

The piece is "In the Hall of the Mountain King" by Edvard Grieg, arranged by James Bastien.

    Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYFm0tO4gFM

Don't tell me it's not perfect!

This girl still has a positive attitude towards piano and practicing. She'll often play her old songs; pieces that she's already passed - and I never ask her to do that!

The keys on the Wurlitzer are a little "heavy." Is that the right word? One needs to press harder on them than they would have to on, say, a Yamaha, to achieve the intended sound. It fits this girl because she's got some strength in her fingers, hands and arms. Still, she needs to learn to relax at the keys.

She's been at it for nearly 16 months. I'm happy with her progress. A good teacher makes
    such the difference!

(Suddenly remember I hadn't seen this video cos couldn't play it out loud while at work the other day)

Round of applause for this talented pianist. You must be so proud of her. I like this song alot...bit creepy but rather interesting & exciting.

I have always regretted not carry on learning piano, gave up after a few months when I was little. Ah, not sure if Little Bunny is up for it!?

That's a great video! She's doing really well after a relatively short time period. Hope she'll continue to enjoy it. :)

Absolutely perfect!   The key is her liking it. Work doesn't seem like work when you're having fun.

Wonderful!  So great that she enjoys practicing and playing.  My husband never appreciated his lessons as a child until now.  Let's hope our kids have the same dedication and talent as your daughter!

Very good!  Your girl has nice long fingers :)

I started learning piano in grade 8 and stopped in grade 12... never really had an interest and my hands are tiny so it was a struggle to reach just one octave!

youre making your little girl play piano.. thats so asian lolz.. my mom made me too.. actually because my older brother wanted to and my mom made me take lessons also...

its pretty good for someone whos been learning for 16 mths..

shes going to be really good if she keeps at it.. dont let her get lazy when she practices.. everyone hates practice, but thats how you get better..

Cool!  I wonder when Amelie can play a "complete" song with her violin.  You must be so happy and proud of your girl.
The piano is very classic and elegant!

    good for her!

yeah, the keys on my piano were heavy too... the teacher told me it's better because it trains your hands/ fingers. the only piano mrAC and i have now is the one in the musty piano room down at our clubhouse... the keys are outta tune and the piano is just old. =/
