I purchase this cool, 300 piece jigsaw people for a fun home activity.

We get started and something calls away the offspring. I couldn't just leave the project unfinished on the kitchen table so I dug in to complete it while I was left alone at home.

This is how it was left before I started in on it.

    35 minutes later

    30 minutes later

    About 35 minutes later

I actually got tired of putting together the jigsaw puzzle but the 'Virgo' in me prevented me from stopping until it was completed. I guess I could've been doing a few other things yet, perhaps, I didn't exactly want to be doing those other things.

It's so nice to be left in solitude at times. I haven't been getting a lot of alone time lately. Being so often tugged this way and that is trying on my patience and my sanity.

In the end, about 20 pieces remained when the others returned and completed the puzzle. I think this particular puzzle would've really challenged the young ones, causing them to make such a commotion over the bickering of puzzle pieces. It's supposed to be a quiet(er) pastime.

Very impressive you almost finished the puzzle in such a short amount of time. I'm like you...ought to finish something once I started it.

hehe, yes little ones do have the habit of arguing over puzzle pieces, I did a Dr Who one with my nephews, both wanted to build the Dr's face...No fun at all!

Yeah, that looks a bit intricate for little ones.  I don't have the patience either.  But it's good for the brain.
