    I asked my mom to come stay with me for the weekend. That's about as long as she'll stand it.

    She says it's too quiet at my home. Sis confidentially told me that mom finds our conversation too limited. What? Mom expects us to talk with her? Pffft.

    Actually, Mr. P does a great job of giving her an audience to tell our family history.  And he'll have some entertaining tales about his parents and things involved with their recent move.

    Will take her shopping and will feed her some Western food. That might keep her mind off her desire to be back at home playing mahjong with her pals or giving away her money at the local casinos.

    HAHAHA....I am with my mom this weekend!  Just had lots of drama in the car because I tried to teach her how to use a GPS my brother got her for X MAS....lots of screaming in Chinese and I don't get it...it is supposed to be a relaxing Mother's Day weekend...Moms will be Moms

    Can you guys play mahjong?  I used to play pinochle with my mom when I was young and sharp, and she used to beat me all the time.  Now, she can't play.  Maybe your mom would like to beat you at something she could do better.  It sounds like a game people get really about.
