It's been a while since I've baked anything. For my first apple pie of 2-0-1-2, I first prepared the crust. And it sat in the fridge for about three weeks. It's a good thing Granny Smith apples stay fresh in the fridge for a long time. They must've been in there for as long as a month, maybe longer. Every time I'd pull out the veg/fruit drawer and the apples rolled out, I'd remind myself I really need to use them. I finally mustered the energy - enough to pull me away from the computer and to keep from reaching for a book - and baked the darn thing. So delicious.

I know... I keep posting entries on my stoopid apple pie baking. heehee. (Bake something else already. lol) I don't know what else to blog about anymore. Life is such a bore!!

Is cinnamon a must when it comes to apple pies? ALL the recipes I come across online require it. Just wondering if it'll taste funky should I omit that step heh...
