  • AnD reminders in Hawaii

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Really appreciated them!!

I was barely on AnD last week because I needed to be in Honolulu, Hawaii for a little vacation. Did anyone notice I was missing? heheh. Traveling on vacay precludes bringing a laptop and, therefore, blogging.

For important internet matters, it was the Apple store over at Ala Moana shopping center, which is where, incidentally, I loaded up on the carbs as well (at the food court).

Went through all my Feeds on Monday. I thought I'd just do a couple of days' worth but then I didn't want to slight anyone by not, at least, reading their entries into which some of members really put in their heart and soul. My eyes were cross-eyed for a little bit.

I thought I'd share a few images from Hawaii that reminded me of AnD in some way or another:

A Japanese sword handle for the Japanese beer tap. Reminds me of the sword owners (JoanneSanderson, Pongza) and beer gluttons (too many of you!).

A couple of you (unwoundclock and LC) do not like eating at The Cheesecake Factory. I did not visit them on this occasion.

Dragon boats tied to the pier for iggypuffygirl. I don't believe any racing took place while I was in the vicinity.

Pink and red shower ginger flowers for Butter and AsianChick100.

    Frog statuary for jiushi.

A press conference about to take place for Olympic gold medalist for the Decathlon event, Bryan Clay. DanielsGirl might've wanted to attend and press the flesh with that fine man. I didn't hang around for his appearance.

    Who doesn't like today's Apple?

Who was it who recently visited Thailand? Sorry, the sea air cleared out my brain.

Who was it who recently married or who is planning on entering into the marriage contract?

For everyone else, there's dragon fruit. I didn't get a chance to sample it. I was dying from the heat and sun by this time.

I have a dragon fruit sitting inside my fridge too, but I haven't tried it either. Hubby's mom gave it to me.

I'm not too crazy about the taste.  According to my Mom this is good to eat if you've been having problems with #2 in the bathroom.
