One of my favorite TV commercials.

Pete Wiggins is such the darling... and very chubby.

He was so impressive in the Kaiser Healthcare commercial, he was invited to appear on the Ellen Degeneres Show. He was 5 then...and still (too) chubby.

Yup, he talks like the 5-year-old boy(!).

And isn't he just so excited to get those sweet treats? A little too excited, perhaps? I do hope it's because someone's been watching what they feed him cos he sure wouldn't want to keep that pudginess as he grows older.

I mean, that pudgy look may be conducive to getting him more acting gigs because, come on, who doesn't like to look at cute, overweight children...of a certain age and of a certain overweight-ness?

    Oversized Americans.

actually, i think he will end up being super buff by the time he hits high school or so.  cuz kids will make fun of him relentlessly up til then.

lol, he's certainly got attitude, I liked his reply to Ellen when she asked if he was married :D, but yeah the gift basket is giving him the wrong gift and future outlook.

I myself do strongly dislike those commercials, programs, ads, etc that "glorify" junk food. As if biting into those stuff is like heaven. Gives kids (esp mine) the wrong message. Mine don't really eat junk food - no sodas, candy - so "sexy" images that might make them think they're missing out (which they are not!) irk me.

I'm prolly taking it way too serious, but I don't like that they gave him tempting treats on the show. Kids are still learning about food choices & it wasn't a good message for the kid imo.

He's still very sweet & chubby while only 5. If he continues to get fatter & fatter when older then he definitely won't be considered cute! I like the way he swings his legs during the interview. What a happy chubby chappie teehee!

Haha, the way he was looking at that basket of goodies and recounting his trip in terms of snacks per mile, looks like his mom is restricting treats at home.  Do you realize we actually have given the name "junk food" to a whole category of snacks, and yet we eat them like they're soooo yummy and full of nutrition.    I know I can't have it around, Doritos are like a drug to me.
