It is not so pound to say it is my first time to Sydney after all these years in Australia. I went there alone in May and met couple of friends up there. Generally speaking the trip was alright, nothing really went beyond my expectation except it was raining everyday which suck.
The city there is much more developed then Melbourne with a lot more skyscrapers and the scale of the classical building such as QVB and the former post office are really impressive.

Need no explanation of how amazing the Opera house is, and what I didn't expect is that its not just the actual opera house that is beautiful, but the podium where the opera house built upon. The monumental staircase lead up to the opera house somewhat can be seem as those stair that lead you up to temple, where you can forget about your job and your troubles in life for a moment and enjoy times in such a unique space.

The rest of the trip was pretty much just wandering in shops and galleries. The city is so energetic and crowded, however its to me lack of the cultural atmosphere comparing to melbourne, you can hardly see cafe tables on the street and street performers, I guess thats why i been told that Sydney is like hong kong. Also I realized that how big our clubbing culture in melbourne after visiting sydeny, coz as a dj I would always aware poster and flyers on the street to see whats on and whats hot, but seriously I couldn't see any promotion around in sydney, maybe its the council regulation or something.

One of the best acquired from the trip was meeting this Germen guy in the hostel. His name is Fabain who is traveling around the world with his backpack, we talked for so long and told me a lot about Berlin, and I really need go there and check out that "land of ideas"!
