I was going through my stuff (a vain attempt to get more organized) and ran across this charcoal-and-pencil drawing that I did when I was taking a fundamental drawing class via UC Extension a couple of years ago. We were working on abstract drawing and so I took some charcoal to paper in the dark of night, and this was the result.

I like it because it seemed to capture my mood at the time, which was, well, moody. Moody like the an overcast night just before the rain, maybe.

    The drawing is untitled.

Hmmm, wow, I guess my drawing wasn't so entirely abstract! I was going to provide a description of the drawing in my post, but decided not to because I was curious what other people would think.

No need for a description now. ;-)

i like it! i like dark art that conveys a brooding type of feel.  it makes me think of a forest at night... leafless trees (i guess it's winter).. and a few  moody ppl quietly standing within the the forest. companion silhouettes in the darkness yet each one totally alone.... ...  hmm. yes i like it. haha.
