It's nice to see the interview with the gentlemen now. It was a wonderful thing they did, definitely brought countless tears to my eyes, seeing the reunion.

I like your final sum up,, it would be a wonderful dream come true.

i saw the lion video, and it made me cry. sniff sniff. strangely, even though he's a lion, it made me think of reunions with humans. i guess it's the same sentiment.

I saw a program on public TV once. It was about a couple of scientists (the kind who study, uh, lions) who studied and cared for a bunch of lions. When the lions reached a certain age, they'd have to release them to the wild. There was a moment caught on film where the lionesses remembered their caregivers and came by to say hello. That was so special. Tears to your eyes.

Thanks Patty.  I forwarded this to a few friends.  I shed some tears, of course, I'm human.  And then I watched it again, and I cried again.  I guess it touches something deep within us.  And maybe it also has something to do with that Whitney Houston song which touches me every time I hear it (and since I don't hear it often, it still has that effect).  But yeah, if you can tap into that emotion some way in a film, then you've got a winner.  The scene that instantly comes to mind is in Field of Dreams when at the end he says "Wanna play catch?" with that throb in his voice.  We WANT to feel something but it's gotta be something real.  I guess it's a fine line between showing true human emotion and melodrama.  But hey, I'm up for a good melodrama once in a while!

P.S.  I wish we could share love and only love, but there are so many idiots in the world whom I just hate.  j/k   But seriously, I wish there were a way.  You can only control yourself so that's a start.  Love is easy except when it ain't.
