Here's a small sample of what we've been doing during the MasterCard Luxury Week last month. It was a bitter sweet event....lots of unforeseen hardships and agonies, but we've pulled through in the end. And the result....shows which shown rave reviews by the press and guests......For those who missed the shows....here is a small sampling....

Bazaar Indonesia Shoot in Hong Kong

This was a standard fashion preview shoot for the Harper's Bazaar Indonesia with Singapore-based Indonesian photographer Ivanho Harlim. We had a chance to work with him for the Swank Shop FW 08 campaign and catalogue shoot and this spread for Bazaar Indonesia was an ad hoc thing we decided to do. After going through a few Asian girls (because we want the whole shoot to represent Hong Kong) we casted Zhang Xue who incidentally was not from Hong Kong but from Beijing. She just got back from London and was in town for a week or so before heading back to Beijing for a month. She is a crazy gal, really easy going and great to work with. Will Wong did the make up for us and Ryan who sponsors my hair from Vivid Turn Salon helped us with the hair.

It was an exuberantly hot and muggy day....Ivanho and his assistant was used to the heat since they come from a much hotter country than us....for us Hong Kongers, we tend to like to stay indoors in a nice conditioned studio when the summer heat and humidity overcomes us. But since we had to show the skyline of Hong Kong and we were working with a limited budget, we had to re-use my roof top which I had previously done 2 shoots at already....but I'm sure readers won't remember that....especially when this shoot was for the Indonesian Bazaar...

The photos attached are taken with my own camera on my Nokia N73....not too bad for just a camera phone photo taken by someone who almost failed photography in high school....Hope you can be as proud as myself of these photos. I will post the real stuff later once the photos are published.

Educated in Canada, Patryk returned to Hong Kong in 1997 to experience the return of Hong Kong to China and to pursue his career in the creatives. He had once launched his own clothing line under his own name, and participate in fashion shows in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing, London and Kuala Lumpur as a designer. Now, Patryk has shifted his creativity into fashion styling, costume design, and art directing for fashion, commercials, prints, movies and music as well as helped styled and produced such coveted events as the Singapore Fashion Festival 2006 and 2007, and the MasterCard Luxury Week Hong Kong 2007 and 2008. He has worked with such big names as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Escada, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, G-Star Raw, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Zac Posen, Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang, Triumph, and such top international models as Philip Huang, Lily Cole, Du Juan, Emma Pei, QiQi, Lisa S, Ana R, Gaile Lai and Eunis Chan.

Patryk loves his work, which enables him to express himself creatively in many different ways. His private life can also be as varied as spending whole weekends on his couch watching movies and tv series without stepping out of his home, or out having a plain good time with friends drinking and partying.
